I purchased an o'general ac on jul 15, 2018 from snehanjali electronics and trading pvt ltd. Model number of the ac is aoga24jccb (O).
This ac is not working and the compressor does not start. Please note, that (A) when the ac arrived, it did not have some fixtures in the pack and the packaging appeared shoddy. I immediately complained to the store, snehanjali and asked them to replace the product given that it did not have all the necessary components in it. The technician who has helped install several acs for me, advised me that this was likely to be used / opened or defective product and that i should get it replaced. Snehanjali store however assured me that the unit was fine and refused to replace it (Since the money was paid in advance it was convenient for them). I finally got it installed last week and (B) after installation the ac has never worked and i logged a complaint at customer service center (Service call number: mum[protected] yesterday. A service person visited today and informed me that the machine's pcb / motherboard that regulates compressors activity is faulty and would require replacement. The person visiting, while he solved no problem, took a visiting charge of rs. 450. Please note that his visit would never have been required if the machine was not faulty to begin with
I have had a fairly disappointing experience so far with my having to spend enormous amount of time first waiting for the product to be delivered, then having something of suspicious quality delivered and then hoping / trying to fix it since it does not work. I expect a lot more from what various technicians told me was a leading brand and from a japanes company.
I request you to please pay attention to this query and either fix or replace the machine i purchased with a functional one.
