Myself, Sanil.V from Ernakulam, kerala.
Had booked a self drive car in zoomcar app on[protected] in the morning.
The Booking ID was: JPSN76L81.
The booking time was from 12:00PM[protected] to 9:30AM[protected].
The car booked alloted by Zoomcar was Nissan Magnite MT petrol.
The total Cost paid was Rs.4253/-.
As the pickup location was 6kms far from my home, i took an autorickshaw to reach the location and paid Rs.180 for auto charge. When was about just to reach the car, received a message from app that the booking was cancelled.
This cancellation was not done by self. It was done from Zoomcar and there was cancellation charges of Rs.1941 applied. Rs.2312 will be reimbursed as per message received.
This Zoomcar does not have a direct customer care support contact number. Even if it is called, it does not get connected.
There was no option to connect to customer care and i had to come back in auto with Rs. 180 again and cancel an important trip of family.
Request Consumer complaint forum to escalate this and get back the cancellation charges (rs. 1941) back to my account.
Note: There was also a profile verification not approved few minutes back before reaching the destination.
I had completed previous trips with the same license uploaded in app.
Anyway, had taken new pictures of license and the same was verified and approved by zoomcar. Have evidence( message) of the same
