Dear sir,
I have lodged a claim for my car RJ27CA3457. afterward i have submitted all the documents relating to claim. one surveyor is appointed mr. a.k. deedwania in udaipur. Local workshop has given a estimate of approximate 3 lac rs . As these estimate was more than 70% of IDV . car was supposed to go in complete loss. then surveyor didwania called me for settlement and asked me to agree on lesser IDV amount i.e. 2 lac rs. when i refused and told him that my insurance is of 318000 and i will not settle for lesser amount. Then he assured me that if you will give me a certain percentage of your claim amount(10%) than i will make favourable report otherwise you will not able to receive your claim.
i refused and reported this thing to mr. Bhootani and mr. rajesh yadav of iffco tokio insurance. these official have given me only fake assurances and indirectly supported surveyor mr. deedwania. after 2 or 3 days deedwania called me and told me that as you didnt agreed on my proposal so i have submitted the report not of completeloss but of repair only. i again rteported this thing to mr. bhootani of iffco topkiyo and also complained online on their website but no body responded.
