I had iffco Tokyo insurance for my bajaj discover the had provide me fraud insurance receipt and said the will provide me original copy in 2 month but they are not able to provide me. After 3 month of insurance taken by vehicle way lost and the company has not provide policy amount they said you had taken insurance from dadar branch and this branch is close so catch the dadar branch manager and collect amount from him , the receipt is from ifco Tokyo and it has stamp also. . . . Was this information helpful? |
If you have the original receipt from the insurance company, indicating the premium amount paid and the motor insurance cover note, then you can claim against the insurer for the loss of your vehicle. However, if you do not have any documents with you, towards proving the payment of premium, it would not be possible for you to prove your case.
Closure of a branch office, non - issue of the policy document etc., can be negated provided you have proof of placement.
