1995 — iron box from prestige

I have Purchased an Iron box from Presige only on 26/6/18. Not working from 01/07/2018. I approached the dealer "Prestige, Thampanoor, Trivandrum" for replacement. They didnot replace it and I was directed to service centre which is further 6 km from there. The service people just collected the iron box on 4/7/18 and told me that will be informed today the status. I cannot understand how a new product from PRESTIGE stopped working just after 3 days? What problem is there for the dealer to replace it? How long I should wait for rectifying the defect? I request you to direct the dealer to replace the iron box with a new one
