Ace honda — PDI not being conducted rather putting blame on customer you do not check

I purchased a new honda brio against invoice no.Inv-ew-dd051-1617-243 on 8 june 2016.
The car was purchased under the impression that the responsibilities carried out by the dealer not have to be rechecked. But to my utter surprise when the car was for the first time used at late evenning hours one of the head light was not working and we had to drive the car with only one head light next day when we send the car to ace honda workshop and told this defects they told ok book it and come when it was raised that it is a new car was it not checked before delievery the answer was why didn't you check at the time of delievery
This way it look if somebody takes delivery of a new car under the impression of purchasing a reputed brand from a reputed dealer then he is not suppose to bring a mechanic and a electrician to check whether the car is road worthy or not.
Please check for yourself whether pdi's are done or are the innocent customers being exploited like this.
Pathetic experience from hond cars not to believed.
