[Resolved]  ACT Fibernet — refund issue account no[protected]

Hi,

I have placed a shifting request on July 31st and that request was supposed to be done by Aug 3rd but it wasnt. I have been calling ACT customer care almost everyday and speaking with multiple reps and they promised it would be done and I would get a call from the technician in 24hrs.On 12th Aug when I called the Customer care, they said I should make the payment to avoid disconnection of services completely and will be adjusted accordingly and refund would be given for the days the shifting request was delayed..I have asked them to place a request for refund but they asked me to wait until the shifting request is processed.. On 16th Aug the ticket was suddenly closed and when I called the customer care I was told there is no feasibility to shift the connection.. I wonder how did they determine that without even a techinician coming to my place as I never even received a call..I called them again and Customer care rep told they would reopen the ticket and I would get a call.. This again didnot happen and I finally called them today to disconnect my connection and no one is willing to give me any information about the refund and I was being transferred back and forth from Customer care to disconnection team.. The reps also disconnected my calls multiple times while talking about refund.. After all this mess, one of the customer service rep tells me today that there is no refund policy at all for ACT and they would prorate the amount from the disconnection date and add it to my ACT account though I didnot use the service due to the delay in shifting and I can only transfer it to a different ACT account or I should go back to my previous address and use the service.. This was the stupid resolution provided by the customer care..ACT customer care is pathetic and they are just cheating customers like this asking them to make payment, promising call backs and never providing any resolution. I would want them to refund my full Aug payment made ASAP to my bank account and not the ACT account as they didn't shift the connection and I haven't used the service and not the prorated amount...
