Agarwal Packers & Movers — inadequate customer service, too long delays in delivery | |
This is with regards to the shipment of my two wheeler from hyderabad to bangalore. Gc[protected] shipment loaded on 6th sept. I had decided to go ahead with agarwal packers and movers assuming that they would provide professional service. Sadly, i had gone through a very bad customer service as well as pickup experience. Following are the issues faced so far: 1. I was informed that loading would happen at my house at 11am, but the loading only happened at 6pm that day and i was not informed of this in proir. 2. I had talked to hyderabad customer care to be aware of instructions for loading before hand. A lady mentioned that i was not supposed to hand over keys to the loading guy. But when the loading guy came home, he wanted the keys. As i was reluctant doing this, the same customer care lady called me up and asked me to hand it over to him. So, very contradicting statements from her end. 3. The loading guy came without a truck to load and said he would personally drive my vehicle to loading point in bowenpally. I was really taken aback at this service where my bike had to be ridden by someone else and that this had not been mentioned to me in the start. When i asked the customer service lady about not loading at the point of my house she mentioned that it was due to unavailability of loading vehicle at my exact location. Again, had i known this in the start i wouldn't sign up for this. 3. The loading guy tried to get cash out o[censored]s saying that he needs to fill petrol as the bike now had to be ridden to loading point. I did not provide it. 4. Stipulated time of delivery mentioned to me was 5 days (Ideally should have reached bangalore by 10th sept). Sadly, it has already been 7 days now and after multiple attempts of calling for tracking details, they finally mentioned that it would be taking another two days time. This is a significant delay for a consumer (Saying 5 days and now saying 9 days) especially after payment being taken in advance. 5. The delivery date has kept on being extended and till now no one has provided actual tracking details saying which location my vehicle is exactly at right now. Mail for tracking has not responded, three phone numbers given for tracking do not pick up. This mailid and numbers were provided by the live chat service. Finally, i called up the same hyderabad customer care lady for tracking details. She took my gc number and never responded. That too, i called her yesterday and day before and still she could not provide a reply. Finally, on calling another guy today, he said that delivery will happen two days later. Again, i have no proof on this. Not having an online tracking system shows lack of transparency in the service. Kindly take notice of all these issues i have faced on my first stint with agarwal packers and movers. It is really shocking that i have already faced so many issues just with a single service.
