I have been repeatedly getting phone calls through various numbers by an ngo called "a giggles welfare organisation". They are claiming their links to top notch government organisation like aiims and forcibly asking for donations. This organisation has no rights to disturb my peace of mind and later i found that many people has reported this organisation to be fake. I have a similar history of calls and i many times cut my necessary expenses and donated. at one time i also donated as much as Rs 6500.
While talking with her i came to suspicion with few of her talks like:
1. When asked is there no one else apart from me who can donate. In answer to this she said that the whole Giggles welfare team have made heavy donations and every member is now bankrupt and no one is in position to help the patient.
2. She the volunteer had donated every rupee she had to the patient treatment. In fact she takes home tutions for kids and she earns very small amount some thing about Rs 3500 and donated every thing to the patient treatment. But when looking at her photos on whats app it seems that she lives a very lavish life.
3. For all of the donation requests she was so much forcing as if the treatment was left just for my contribution. How can it be possible that this volunteer don't find anyone from Delhi to contribute. Why only me who lives long away in Mumbai to save this kids.
4. Since few times i have started rejecting to donate because i have a financial crunch due to loan liabilities.
She sent me a message as below:
she : Baby is no more:
me : Sad news. May God bless the departed soul.
she : 1599 aap save kar ke rakh lena pls.
5. One thing which always perplexed me is that if this volunteer just earns Rs 3500 per month then how can she change her phone number 5th or 6th times in my knowledge. Frequent change in number is not a sober practice.
All these experiences from one volunteer puts me in wonder. How come the Hospitals where the kids are admitted allow them to die for justfew thousands if the rest of the payment is arranged by Giggles organization?
While rejecting any donation request i feed very bad and guilty. But some times i feel these volunteers are cheating me. I don't know how to react or to find truth.

I also received a call today to donate money for operational of a child who had accident and burns his hand and leg. They have given me account details to donate money. But, I tried to research it online and got these complaints about them so I am not going to donate any money. Thanks!!
