The safai karamcharis do not take the garbage on the streets to the AMC Dustbin but instead burn the down the garbage on the road or in an open plot. The burning garbage, that consists mostly of small dead plants, leaves, empty food packets, medical waste and newspapers, causes a lot of smoke in the area which has already affected the residents of our area, especially those who are patients of heart and lung disorders. Despite carrying out of a Swachch Bharat abhyan by the people in our area, the streets are still full of garbage which the safai karamcharis do not dispose off properly. The AMC even promised to send a notice and explain to the safai karamcharis and the owners of the open plot not to burn the garbage but no action took place. Please look into this problem as improper disposal of garbage is also against the laws and punishable by law. I am resident of Ahmedabad, Gujarat from last 30 years.
I would like to bring to your notice that from last 6 months there are no cleaners in our society.
Its becoming so difficult to manage the area clean.
We do trust in Health is Wealth and also Supporting "Swachh Bharat" Abhiyan from our end.
Requesting you to send some concern person for visit and allot some cleaning team for this.
Also there is illegal garage on futpath outside our society, beacuse of that so many traffic issues are arising daily.
No one from Higher Authority is taking any Action and make us believe in "Sabka Sath Sabka Vikash".
