Hi, I had booked 3 tickets from air India express from Mumbai to Dubai on 1st Jan. I selected the flight due to timing as I had some important event to visit. When I received the message regarding flight delay of more than 5 hours on 31st December 11pm I was shocked and I kept on calling air India express customer service number may be more than 100times and even sending email back to back but no response. I kept on calling next morning and finally got connected. I requested to proceed with cancellation but they said their system was not updated and they cannot help. I requested for some other number where I can speak to they said they don't have any and I can send email n update them that I'm cancelling. Which I did. Then I requested my booking app ixigo as well to proceed with cancellation. They assured me that since my flight is delayed more than 5 hours I'm eligible for full refund. After 2 days I'm getting a reply stating my cancellation was rejected as there was no show. What kind of service is this? Please advise further how to claim my refund? Or I have to go through proper legal channel?
