With reference to the pnr hsb9d, we had booked flight tickets from ahmedabad to mumbai on 5th may 2018.
Unfortunately we are unable to travel as my husband mr. Jayadeep nair has undergone operation on 1st may 2018 and he is unable to travel for next 2 months. Under such unavoidable circumstances, i had requested air india to give me full refund without any cancellation or penalty charges, as this was very much unfortunate and we were forced to cancel all our holiday packages. I had even attached necessary medical documents for their reference.
I have received full refund from goair (Mum-goi sector) and indigo (Goi-amd sector).
But air india denies to make any payment. I had emailed to their customer care and even to their nodal officer as well but the reply remains the same. Why cant the airlines consider such unavoidable circumstances and work in the interest of consumers? They just mention that they dont have such policies of refund. Air india being such a big company and being old in the airlines system, i expected much more cooperation from them. Was this information helpful? |
