Air India — Off Loading on flight AI 115

Address:New Delhi, Delhi, 110025

2 of 1, 702 Dear sir, My daughter Miss Aastha Dawer was booked with confirmed ticket on Flt AI 115 to London on 8th jan 2016. Her Air India ticket confirmation number was HRWRE. She was at the airport at 4.45am in the check-in que. At about 5.15am she was informed that she is being off loaded due to over booking, and she was told to take 2.45pm flight. Sir, she is a student at Nottinghan University, and she had already booked her National Express coach from London Heathrow to Nottingham for 2pm. Apart from this, it was not possible for her to take the afternoon flight as it would reach Heathrow late evening and she had no further confirmed booking to Nottingham. Her ticket from Heathrow to Nottingham by coach has gone waste. Then she was requested to fly on 9th Jan 2016 by same flight at 6.50am. Finding no other alternative she had to accept the offer. Sir, she doesnt have any confirmed coach ticket with her for onward journey to Nottingham and all coaches are full as the university in Nottingham opens on 11th jan 2016 after vacations. Firstly who is going to pay for the loss of her coach ticket which was booked for 8th jan. Secondly she will have to take a cab for her onward journey to Nottingham on 9th jan 2016, which will cost me app 150 pounds. Who is going to pay for this?? I would like to bring to your notice that the duty person on the night of 8th jan Mr Sanjeev Kapoor who was on front desk, dealing with offloaded passengers was extremely rough, rude and out spoken. I could listen to the whole conversation as my daughter was on the phone line with me all the time for 1 hour. Inspite of her repeated requests to him that i am alone girl and a student and i have further coach connection he paid no attention to her request. This gentleman Mr Sanjeev Kapoor should and must be taken to task who had no humanity and never considered how will a single girl, a student will travel further to Nottingham. Mr Sanjeev Kapoor who was on duty that night had no manners to talk to a lady.If such illiterate and out spoken people are employed by Air India, one day none will like to travel and interact with such stupid mannerless people. Will Air india take suitable action against this man??? I request you please compensate the losses suffered by the passenger and the whole family immediately. Looking forward for early action and compensation. Thanking you Sunil Dawer f/o Aastha Dawer [protected] [protected]
