Air India — Refund of amount deducted from my SBI account, while attempting to get air tickets from site of Air India, PNR/ tickets not issued

Sir,

On 25/08/2022, I had tried booking of tickets for myself and for my son (Vikrant Kumar Mishra) for Air India flight, from Delhi to Bengaluru at 2115 Hrs from Delhi on 31/08/2022 (AI-504).

During the process I paid through online SBI banking and payment got deducted from my SBI bank account but I didn't get the confirmation and tickets from Air India. SBI Bank transaction reference No- IGAOENVPO8.

The transaction slip of the bank regarding the payment made to Air India is attached with this email.

Later I called at the helpline number of Air India and requested for refund of my amount which is showing as deducted and transacted to the account of Air India.

It is requested for the immediate refund of the amount deducted from my SBI bank account as confirmation and tickets not recieved from Air India.

Details are as under-

Date of Transaction- 25 August 2022

Transaction ID- IGAOENVPO8 of online SBI Banking. I have already attached the transaction/ acknowledgement slip of bank with my mail.

Website/ Mobile App/ Payment link made- It was made from site of Air India, from where it was directed towards online SBI Banking for payment.

Amount Paid- Rs 10, 015/- (Paramilitary concession tickets for two persons, i.e. for Ajay Kumar Mishra (Myself) & Vikrant Kumar Mishra (My son))

Name of passengers- Ajay Kumar Mishra (Myself) & Vikrant Kumar Mishra (My son).

Sector of travel- Delhi to Bengaluru

Date of travel- 31 August 2022.

Flight No. AI 504

Payment method used- Online SBI Banking as directed from the official site of Air India.

Last Digit of card, if card used- No card was used. Payment was done through online SBI Banking

Card holder's name- Card was not used. Name of Account holder- Ajay Kumar Mishra.

I hereby attach the transaction slip of the bank, mentioning the amount of money deducted from my account and credited into the account of Air India, along with this mail.

Submitted for early refund of the amount which already stands debited from my account as I didn't get any ticket/ PNR against the amount debited.
