Air India — Refund of my ticket from July/August 2020

I had booked to travel from Hyderabad to Chicago (ORD) for 31st July 2020. However, Air India on its own canceled my ticket and moved me to 5th August 2020.

As I had to leave by 31st July - I had immediately requested Air India to cancel the new ticket and refund my amount. From that day onwards, I called customer service multiple times and communicated with [protected]@airindia.in multiple times (email chain below). Every time I was told I will get my refund in 3 to 4 weeks. I had patiently waited for those weeks but again I hear the same story.

It has been more than 6 months now and had been continuously following up with them for my refund. It is really ridiculous on part of Air India to do this. This ticket amount charged to my account is a total of $2255

Can anyone on this email help to resolve this issue and get my refund - Refund req[protected]
