Aircel — Balance Deducted without any Consent

I am a subscriber of Aircel for a long time. I have Aircel number which is more than 5 years old. I was really pleased by offers provided by Aircel in terms of value-for-money.However, my conception about Aircel has changed after the harassment I am facing from yesterday. My new Aircel number is [protected] which I took some 3/4 months ago after coming to New Delhi.Yesterday [[protected]] I received a call from one of the Aircel Marketing person. The conversation failed to initiate as the reception was not very good at that time, and I requested him to call me back after few hours.I did not receive any call back, but did receive a sms around 8:30 PM at night saying-"Your SMS Rs 2 pack has been activated, total amount Rs 56 validity 28 days. Enjoy the benefits. To activate this service at any time, SMS STOP to 59301".As I was busy then and later I checked the SMS and my balance also. To my surprise Rs. 2 was gone from my account.That does not stop here. Today [[protected]], in the morning I again checked the balance, another Rs. 2 has been deducted.So, Aircel is now deducting balance for a service without my knowledge and consent. And I have never used this service neither I intend to. Is that not type of cheating and theft?I tried to call up your customer care and Appellate Authority numbers- [protected] & [protected]. They said they "really" understand my concern and they guided me how to stop the service but told me that the money once deducted can not be returned back in any case. I wasted more than 1 hour talking with them but there was no solution of my problem.They are reluctant to transfer my call beyond the supervisor level. They said it is according to company policy, that higher ranked staffs will not take any calls.So, is it your company's policy to cheat and steal money from customers and then ignore their calls if the follow that up? It is so nice of you!I very well understand this is a case cheating and stealing. If you do not return the deducted balance to my account and don't stop this service, I'll try to see an end to it through legal procedures in customer court, although it may worth penny for me.I was a happy customer of Aircel for years. However, this incident really surprised me. I'll definitely try to spread my word of concerns with valid proofs to all the people known and unknown to me through social media [Facebook, twitter etc.] and other platform, so that they also separate themselves from Aircel network before you cheat them.

We would like to inform you that as per our records no SMS pack of Rs. 2/- has been activated on shared Aircel number [protected].


Further we would like to inform you that as per our records you have been charged for reactivation of NYASTRO service on above mentioned Aircel number and same has already been deactivated.


We would like to clarify that as per usage charges are correct and no adjustment is applicable for the same.
