Airtel — 5.1gb unused booster pack data deducted without usage | |||
On 24th may 2019, around 2pm, my daily data limit of 1.5 gb data was exhausted and i needed more data so i recharged my phone number [protected] with a 6 gb booster pack of rs.98. I used approx 500-600mb data through usb tethering on my pc according to both my phone (Tethering/hotspot data used) and my pc (Data used in given duration) then after using my phone for a while, i checked my data balance in the airtel thanks app and it showed that i only had 288 mb remaining data. I thought maybe its a glitch on my end so i contacted the airtel customer care (121) and they told me the same thing that i had used 5.8 gb of data. This is extremely intolerable that airtel just deducted such a huge amount of my unused data for no reason and the customer care isn't ready to help me in the matter.
