[Resolved]  Airtel — airtel looting money from customer by 20gb - 2500 rupees booster pack activation

I'm using airtel postpaid for more than 2 years and regularly paying bill amount. Eventhough the postpaid bill amount is high (It comes around 700) i stick to airtel because i trust them. But for the month of august my bill amount came around 3650 rupees which is very huge for me.

When i called customer care they said i have activated 20gb data pack that cost around 2000 and that too for two times in a month (13th aug - 200rs and on 31st aug 500rs). I actually have more than 50 gb free data left in my connection then why should i need to activate data pack for 2000 rupees? I asked the same question to customer care but they responded as their record shows it activated from airtel app so they can't do anything, this is really disguising to me.

As per their saying that i activated on 13th aug but since my mobile broken so i have used nokia 1100 for almost a week and the activation date falls on this and even customer care said that there is no internet activity from my end then what is the reason to activate 20gb data?

And on 31st aug i was not in my home town and i went to maharashtra and didn't use mobile internet much and mostly used wifi network, since the mobile internet is very slow whats the purpose of activating booster pack? And moreover i didn't get any intimation mail or sms for the same.

And airtel you have all the improved technology with you still you can't give proper explanation from your end then how can you expect a normal person to prove as he not wrong. I have given much of information from my side that i didn't activate 2500 rs booster packs.

If still you say that i activated there is no option for me to go to customer court to file a case on you and please note i will not be paying the bill amount of 3603.68 rupees until it get revised to my original bill amount.

And many thanks for the service you provided for me. And please don't do this to any other innocent peoples who still trust airtel. W

Raised a request with support of Airtel customer care and they understood what i explained and waived off the booster pack amount from my bill. Thank you so much Airtel.

I'm a postpaid corporate plan user of airtel ([protected]) i regularly pay amount of around 650 rs. But for the month of august 2017 i received a bill amount of 3603 which is too huge for me and i called customer care to clarify it where they said i have activated 20 gb data pack that costs 2000 rupees which i didn't do, why should i need to activate it as i have left with more 62 gb data left and moreover i didn't get any intimation mail or messages related to it. And the customer care not giving proper explanation on this problem, asking me to mail [protected]@in. Airtel.com to get more more detail. When compared to other telecom providers i have trusted more on airtel and i didn't expected this.
