[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel charging with false bill and calling me to Lok Adalat ignoring my explanations. | |||
Today, I have received call from Number([protected]), saying that they are calling from Lok Adalat court as a case was filed against me for Outstanding Airtel Bill. I strongly feel that call was made by people connected to Airtel. I was using Airtel connection for my broadband and was paying around 1500Rs monthly for 1 year.(Airtel Fixedline no. [protected]) I had to shift my house, So I have cleared all my outstanding bills and requested for transfer only when they promised that it will take a maximum of 3 days. I called multiple times to customer care within that three days no proper response at all, Was fed and took connection from another service provider. Someone from Ariel came after 15 days without intimating me and told me that he activated port and phone/broadband setup will be done in other week by some other team. I have informed that I have already taken another broadband, He suggested me to call Airtel customer care and inform, Which I did. Am still unsure how this outstanding was lashed on me. Now some one called me and quotes a Lok Adalat Case reference number ctc2784/13c/2017, Also threatens me to appear before lok adalat for settlement within a week or else they will de-activate all my government ID's. If this is not from Lok Adalat, Am surprised how a company like Airtel use these kinds of methods on their customers who are using Airtel services from many years. Appreciate your help on this.
