[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel DTH connection - Not installed after almost a week | |||||
I am a current Airtel customer. I have a postpaid connection + Airtel Broadband Connection I had applied for an Airtel DTH connection that I had received as part of an Amazon Offer. Amazon Offer as follows: Your purchase makes you eligible for a great offer from Airtel Digital TV: 30% off on Airtel DTH subscription and 6 months of free HD content. (The offer is apparently valid till 14th May 2017 - Tomorrow) I was given a Customer Id over SMS. But till date no one has ever come to install the connection, despite repeated follow ups over calls or emails. Numerous people from Airtel side (or claiming to be from Airtel side) call and ask for directions to my house, and when I ask them when will they install, they never turn up. 10.30 am today (Saturday 13 may) an Airtel personnel named Nagraj came (Phone- [protected]) but did not install anything. Instead he assured he would come back in 30 mins to install but has never turned up. Multiple calls to his cellphone have been unanswered and now he has started disconnecting my calls. Also an Airtel personnel named Narendra (Phone: [protected]) called around 9 am today morning asking "What needs to be done" and after getting the information from us, he has stopped taking calls. Till date no one has bothered to install the DTH connection. I have also received calls from: Raghav - [protected] Manju - [protected] [protected] [protected] Nothing has happened. I was promised by Airtel Customer care that this would be installed by today (13th May 2017 - 1.30 PM). This has not happened due to horrible and careless attitude of Airtel and the Pathetic service (or rather lack of it) that you have.
