Hi,

It has been really sad to observe the worst ever services from airtel. I bought an airtel secure plan in the month of apr'17.
I never have been careless in my handling of the phone, you can check the condition of the phone. It is still has same new finish. However, i was never aware that slipping of phone as to be some specific occasion until i heard that my claim has been rejected due to i was standing in my drying room and i slipped due to y carelessness. What a rubbish statement ever...

May i request you to look into concern as after 10 days of rigorous follow up i could register my claim and after 10 days of picking the device, i have been told that claim is rejected. I have not taken this secure services from insurance provider and i dont want to hear their lame excuses. I am going to proceed with legal option if not taken my request seriously.

My Name is Nitin Saxena and I am using the service of Airtel Secure. In the month of June, 2017 display of my phone was damaged. In this regard, i have filed the claim and the claim was sanctioned and the display was changed. I got my phone within 15 days but after 20 days the touch screen of my phone was working automatically and sometimes the screen was disappeared. In this connection, I visited the service centre because I was thought that it is software problem but the service centre checked my phone they told me that your phone's display is duplicate, so your phone's warranty will be terminated. In this regard, I have called to customer care i.e. 121 and informed them that the display of my phone which was installed by you is duplicate and I was asked about the bill of the same. The bill was provided by Airtel was bogus which they have sent me on my E-mail id because the IMEI no. did not match with my phone's IMEI no. I have intimated about this fraud to 121, nodal officer and appellate authority of Airtel.
In this regard, my phone was re-picked by airtel to install the original display on 02 september, 2017. But today is 13.10.2017 and I still waiting for my phone I have mailed several times to higher authorities of Airtel since 01 month but the company is saying your phone is delivered to you but i did not received my phone. So, the officers are keep on giving me 48 to 72 hours since 1 month but no action has been taken about this fraud.
My phone is One Plus 3 and it's worth Rs. 28000/-.

My claim was rejected with the same reason .Saying the accidental slipping of phone from my hand is not a valid reason for claim . Saddest service by airtel .

The same incident happened for me also. They have rejected my claim saying "Improper Handling". The worst part is, after keeping the mobile for more than 15 days, they returned some other fully damaged mobile. I was fighting to get back my mobile. At last they returned extra damaged mobile of mine with dead condition. Initially the cracks at display is minor only. After they returned my mobile, all data's in my mobile is deleted. Finally they formatted the mobile and returned with extra damage. Really very poor service from Airtel. Looking forward to approach legally.

claim id-2076511, asper update i got mail that my handset was repaired on 27th june 2017, after that i made the excess payment, from then i am waiting for handset delivery, since 8days, but no response from customer care, they said they have no informatiom, you have to wait, wait and wait. Now i am going to consumer court and file a case for harrashment

Hi I have the same response.
I submitted my phone for repair and it was returned after a month that it was mishandled.
They don't care much about it. I got my phone back after 24 days of rigorous follow up . Even though they didn't repair the phone.
You should seriously file a complaint against them in consumer court . They deserve it .
Also to add, My phone sensor stopped working after receiving phone back from them . Didn't complaint about it since I know how sad their service is .
My claim No. 2172737 was rejected with the same reason on yesterday with a email received from airtel & saying the
"Claim has been rejected by the insurance company due to Improper handling | No proper care of handset has been taken by insured to safeguard the property."

I just want to know from Airtel "Accidental slipping of phone from my hand is not a valid reason for claim".

I gave my device to Airtel Secure on 24 June 2017. On 12 July 2017 Airtel mailed me that the claim has been rejected and you will get your device within 10-15 days. On 29th July 2017 i received a mobile phone from OneAssist and it was the other handset of Mi Phone when i mailed Airtel about the issue that i gave One Plus 3 and you are returning Mi Phone they replied that the wrong handset is dispatched to you and you will receive your handset within 7 working days. Its 11 Sept 2017 and still they are saying wait for more some time. From last 30 days they are saying more 7 days more 7 days.

what can i do now?

worst service by airtel...same case happened to me...i claimed then they requested to upload the document ..i did that immediately..now they have to pick my phone but they called and told me that your request has been denied ..we are closing your case your can claim that again..but now i'm unable to claim again by myairtel app...

My phone(Mi 4) was submitted with cracked screen at the bottom screen and completely in working condition.
But they rejected the claim and while sending my phone back to me, the screen was completely broken leaving the phone in non working condition(even unable to switch off). For which they told this is the process they follow to check the phone condition completely.
If you are deciding the claim approval status based on the description given, then you not supposed to damage the phone as you are not going to repair.
I raised the concern and they told, I have to get the phone repaired and if the repair costs exceeds the estimation price given by airtel, airtel would pay me the difference amount which was completely unacceptable as I would continue to use my phone if the phone was sent back in same condition and I did not accept this.
Now, they are telling me, they'll send the phone in working condition but they'll not repair the phone.
I am seriously not understanding these diplomatic statements as the phone will not work if its display is not repaired.

Please do the justice in my case - I am just asking me to give the phone in the condition at-least i gave you.

Bloody Bull ### Insurance. They say accidental damage is covered. but if the phone slipped out of your hands and dropped on floor they say its Improper handling and rejected the claim. they are just looting rs.99 from every post paid customer in the name of insurance. i simply felt cheated and fooled by these MNC Crooks who take our hard earned money by promising everything is covered and then lastly coming up with lame reasons. I had enough and i have decided to change my service provider. please dont get fooled by polite words they use. There language will be different when you raise a claim. Please stop trusting these insurances.

"Airtel Secure" plan/scheme appears to be a corporate scam being run by Airtel since April'2017. A fraudulent ongoing act by Airtel duping its own customers based upon false promise of repair of customer's damaged handset upto 65% of the handset value within 24-48 hours of intimation by customer of the damage, and later i.e. after a few weeks denying the customer's claim for no reason or some vague reason.

In the process, Airtel is unethically/illegally generating revenue for itself in hundreds of crores every month from the monthly subscription paid (for this scheme) by its lakhs of innocent customers.

Airtel shall probably understand that we the customers are not to be taken for a ride when we stop paying their bills & take it up legally.

i am irritated with service, i tried uploading my documents as they said but after every time i tried uploading through the my airtel app, its going back to the home page asking define your damage, i am like fed up, customer care called me after i rated it 0 but thn he told me the way but still i can find it in web portal, neither the airtel customer care executive, cant change change my handset acvording to the terms of secure plan and can talk through my phone as this one is not in the condition, why the hell we people are paying this big amount of bill as the other telecom are providing the same benefits at the less amount, just beacuse of the long relationship with the airtel but now my trust is totally broken.
### Service from Airtel. I have raised for accidental damage and there is not proper response. I cant take one month and all to get the phone repaired. Please everybody unsubscribe the airtel secure in case subscribed. If not please change the network itself. There are better service providers. Please go for them. Even network providers have started looting like other politicians. I'm with airtel since 7 years, i would change the network.

Guys this is M S Siddhu [protected]. The reason behind to post this feedback that i noticed lots of negative feedback abount airtel serure service on various portal.
This is regarding my handset repair Service Request No. 3138922...
It is to hereby submit that my handset samsung s7 edge got damaged from front and back as well as and i raised a request under airtel secure plan. The service was quick and informed step by step by the service provider and last but not least MY PHONE GET REPAIRED, the cost of which was 18042/- and i paid 1804 only
So dont judge after seeing such negative feedback...
