Airtel — amount deducted from my account without any usage

I had recharged my airtel prepaid number [protected] on 28th august 2017, through airtel my app for rs. 100/- with full talktime and unlimited validity.

After making the recharge i kept my sim out from handset, when i inserted the sim in my new handset after a month's time, all the amount was deducted from my accounts without any usage.

I called the customer care, but i was surprised by the answer of executive, after making enquiries about the deduction of amount i was told that the amount was deducted as rent for these months.

Does a prepaid connection has a rent...?
