Whenever i recharge to my account the company will take some amount.. I ask to customer care they told you are activate service like that.. They take amount between 12.30Pm to 6 o`clock but i not using mobile for this timing because i went office our office mobile not allowed , Without my knowledge the service activated...Then I have net back also..Late Of time i given complaint to customer care but my problem not solving in this time...Now desired to change another network, i think many people hate airtel because they cheating customer... i thing airtel going local network.....my self really told airtel waste no response for customer.. only they aim earn money....

    On 03/Nov/2012, I called Airtel support helpline, requesting a package change. I requested to change my package to the following:

    1. South Economy Sports (with Tamil and Telugu as optional regional
    language packs) @ Rs 250 per month
    2. HD Value pack @ Rs 81 per month

    Despite Airtel support person confirming the new packages and confirming the monthly charges, the requested change apparently did not take effect at all. Due to this, Airtel continued to charge me more every day as per my earlier plan. Hence my account reached low balance sooner than it was supposed to and the service got suspended on Monday 12/Nov/2012. I made a call again to Airtel support line on Monday 12/Nov and realized that my package was never changed. I requested them to change my packed effective 03/Nov, the day I initially requested the change and credit the difference amount that was wrongfully charged to my account.

    But to this day it did not happen, despite me calling Airtel support several times since. Due to Airtel's inability to solve my issue in a reasonable time frame and resume my TV service, I have decided not to use Airtel DTH service anymore and requested them to terminate my account and refund the amount that was overcharged. Its third day since I sent them email request for which I have not received any response.

    I did not see any willingness from Airtel's part to fix the issue caused by their negligence. If I again top-up now they will happily take it and perhaps change my package, but I do not see any intention in them to credit back the amount they overcharged.

    I do hope other consumers reading this will make smart choice when selecting a DTH provider.

    Your folks did contact me and for a while I really thought my issue is going to get fixed. But unfortunately it did not happen that way. Below is the update:

    A Final Update

    On Monday 19th Nov 2012, I received call call from Airtel. The Airtel person requested me not to terminate my account and promised me to credit my account for the amount overcharged and reactivate my account with the package change as I originally requested. Because of the investment I made on the HD box, I reconsidered my earlier decision to terminate my Airtel DTH account and agreed with him to reactivate my account. The person then calculated the credit amount and called me back again to inform that a credit was given and the issue is resolved.

    Since I was away from home at the time of the call, I could not verify immediately if my service was activated. But as consistent with Airtel support, my Airtel DTH service never resumed and I still got the same error code 6. I waited for one more day and hoped for the issued to get fixed and tried again on Tue, 20 Nov 2012, but the result was same. I verified my Airtel account and confirmed the credit was indeed given. I then called Airtel helpdesk number (121) again and after jumping hoops like "our server is down just now. Please call after one and half hours" or "sms HR to blah..blah.." and after much persuasion, got to speak to the supervisor. After explaining the whole history to yet another Airtel person for the nth time, he clarified that the package change was not actioned and that I need to top up my account in order to do that. I was puzzled why I was not told this on Monday itself by the guy who gave the credit back and promised to solve the issue. I was told that unless I top up more money this issue will not get resolved.

    Conclusion:
    That was the last straw and after waiting patiently for about 10 days without DTH service from Airtel (including Deepavali day), I decided to quit as Airtel DTH customer. It is a shame that what started as a simple mistake lead me to take this extreme step. So much of time, money, effort and energy wasted from both sides to arrive at a loose-loose situation.

    PS: I am beginning to think that the issue here right from the start could be that for a package change to take effect, one has to have certain minimum balance.

      I have purchased Airtel 3G data card for Rs.1000 through a Airtel authorized Dealer on 12th of November and the postpaid number for the same is [protected].I also completed my address verification on 15 th of November but still my data card is not get activated,i have contacted Airtel customer care service many times and registered complaints also but there is no proper response till date.i need to file a complaint against airtel to a consumer court please help me in this matter.

      Airtel Postpaid — Lack of proper information and Delay in activation

      i have been using airtel postpaid connection. My number is [protected]. I had opted for a plan called Accenture299 in which the STD can be made @ Re.1/min. but now airtel has been charging more (RS. 2 or 2.4 / min). Please find a solid solution for this at the earliest.
      i have been using airtel postpaid connection. My number is [protected] in the name of A.A TRADING CO Prop ABDUL WAHAB. I had opted for a plan called Accenture299 in which the STD is not activated please activate my STD on the said number and update my credit limit from Rs 500/- to Rs 2000/-.
      I have the similar complaint.My data card no is [protected] purchased on 16 nov 2012 from an airtel showroom in purasaiwalkam chennai.the connection has not yet registered till to date.I was told it will be activated in 3 to 4 working days from the date of purchase.when I had gone to complain to the respective showroom there were four consumers with similar complaint.why there is such a delay in activation? how long will this continue?when i contacted the showroom they said it will be activated by 26 november 2012.but till date it has not been activated .do we have to wait endlessly?????

      I purchaged the wifi dongle and the data card on Saturday last (3/10/15) from your head-office at Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022. Was assured that the same will be activated by Monday (5/10/15).

      I got SMS at 6.10PM on 6/10/15 confirming that my Address verification has been successfully completed. I was asked to send SMS as "STRTUS [protected]"to [protected]. SMSs were sent several times and delivery report was received every time in my mobile no [protected].

      Nothing is happening here. I called the concerned person in your sixmile office and he asked me to call [protected].
      I rang this number (38+6) 44 (forty four) times, but could not talk to the person at Verification desk due to disconnection every time !!!

      I referred the whole matter to the concerned person Mr. Pankaj ([protected]) in your Sixmile office and ... nothing ... !!!

      I am working in my office and it is impossible to sit & call your [protected] number hour after hour by neglecting my duties.

      Pls do something immediately or arrange to refund my money & take back your device plus data card.

        Airtel — balance karne hetu

        sir,

        mera name hemant prajapati he me airtel company ka 1 consumer hu copany dwara jabardasti balance kat liya gaya h. esa ek bar nahi kai bar ho chuka h. company ne ek din me 100 sms karne ko kaha par company 1 month me 15000 sms bhi 44 ke recharge par de rahi he. jab iski shikayat ki to company dwara custome care option band kar diya gaya. ab esa ho raha h ki 50 sms hone ke bad bhi company dwara balanc kata ja raha he aapse nivedan he ki company par khilaf koi action le or mujhe apne kate gaye pase dilwane ka kast kare.

          Sir/Madam,

          I am a customer of airtel with prepaid connection no. [protected] from Ahmedebad but now I want to move to other service provider. For this I applied for portability on 1.10.2012 (Unique Porting ID AG945512) and I had submitted all my documents of the new service provider. And I was told that it will be ported within 7 days of time. Meanwhile I received a call from airtel company and I told them the reasons and informed them not to call me again on this matter. I waited for 10 days but no action had been taken.
          I applied for portability again on 19.10.2012 (Unique Porting ID AG178896) and STILL NOT DONE.
          I wonder why the hell do the customer care people call every time I apply for portability, IF THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND THE BASIC THINGS. I REQUEST THE HIGHER AUTHORITIRES OF AIRTEL TO TRAIN THEM TO LISTEN TO THE REQUIREMENT OF THE COSTOMERS AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS ACCORDINGLY. This is really fooling the customer.
          I APPLIED FOR PORTABILITY THE THIRD TIME ON 04.11.2011 (UNIQUE PORTING ID AG286883)
          Are they testing the level of patience of the customers…….

            Hello,

            I have taken a micro SIM[protected] 8 H3) on 12th of Nov from Air-tel Store, Pothuri Complex, MG Road, Vijayawada-1 by submitting all the relevant documents. I was asked to wait for 8 working hours to get the SIM activated. I called up the customer care to know the status of the activation after 8 woring hrs they asked me wait till 16th of Nov i.e. for 4days to get the SIM activated. I waited till 17th Nov i.e. today and called up again to know the status but they said that their systems are getting upgraded & they cannot tell the status. I called up 4 to 5 times for the same query and every time they say that their systems are getting upgraded and moreover the customercare support persons speaks very rude without giving the proper information. I was still speaking on the call customercare person(Priyanka) has disconnected my call.

            When I was asked to wait for 8hrs by airtel store people, why the customer care person are making delay in activating the SIM.

            Please help me in the above issue.

              I have an airtel sim card [protected]. I approached airtel centre @ 100 ft rd indiranagar, Bangalore on 12.11.2012, to replace my sim with a micro sim keeping the same no. Of [protected]. I was issued the sim card with an assurance that the micro sim will be activated by Wednesday, 14.11.2012. As of today, the micro sim is yet to be activated. I have visited the airtel centre yesterday & they again gave me a FALSE commitment of the micro sim activation overnight, which has still. Not happened. There seems to be lot of arrogance in airtel being no. 1 in subscribers base & lack of any urgency towards resolving customer issue. I have also spoken the platinum customer care & lodged complaint. They always say, they have escalated the matter but, nothing is evident till now.

                Not Satisfy With Mobile Number Porting Service by AIRTEL — Not Satisfy With Mobile Number Porting Service by AIRTEL

                Hello Sir/Mam,

                I am Joginder and my mobile number is [protected]. Before 1 month, I had ported my this number from Reliance to Airtel. From the date of porting i am facing some problem with Airtel Services.

                First, I am not getting balance summary on my mobile screen after doing any call. Due to this i am not able to know how much balance you are debit from my main balance for a particular call.

                Second, I am not able to recharge my mobile number online. Even when i registered my mobile number in airtel mchek services, it shows my mobile number is not a valid airtel prepaid number.

                Third, Two times a caller tune was activated on my this number without my information. One time they gave my money back but second time they are denied to back my a/c balance. This happened with in 3 days[protected] to[protected].

                I have called so many time in airtel customer care, every time they said we have resolved your problem but still i am facing these problem.
                please resolve my problem as soon as possible and if your are not able to resolve my problem, give me your high authorities email address or contacts number. I will talk them. Or switch my number back to in RELIANCE.

                Airtel — call related issue after porting from bsnl to airtel

                dear sir,
                i migrate my bsnl number([protected]) in airtel.my number port in airtel dated 9-3-11.after porting incoming and outgoing calls are barred,till now.messages are coming,but call not.please activate my number properly as soon as possible and solve my call related issue.thank you
                I am the one of the old customer of AIRTEL prepaid ([protected]) in Andhrapradesh circle due to some reasons like adding value added services without my consent many times and problem with AIRTEL service so I want to move another service provider BSNL with the help of MNP so I put the request to porting number they give the number AA162498. I applied to BSNL to port my number then after my struggle started with AIRTEL customer care people and making calls and asking so many questions in a day repeatedly. I got SMS from BSNL your current service provider will not leave you due to legal agreement , these kind of talks and SMSs went on for couple of days mean while my port number has been expired again BSNL send a sms your port number is expired or not matching . I send a request to porting number again I did not get the porting code . I put the request so many times almost every day but I did not get the port number and send a sms like you are in waiting, new porting number request has been registered, if I talk to customer care they are giving my expired porting number(AA162498) is your current porting number after all these I fed up with AIRTEL. I put a complaint on the consumer forum on internet and forget about porting my mobile number, but the service of my current operator (AIRTEL) comparing with other mobile operators not satisfied to me so I send a request on 01/06/2011 and got porting number AA718797 luckily. With this number I applied to VODAFONE this time for porting my number with postpaid plan . The history repeat like customer care calls asking stupid questions and insists you to answer them. Finally I got a sms from VODAFONE "Hello! Your Porting request AA718797 dated 6th Jun11 has been REJECTED by your current operator due to there are subsisting contractual obligation from the subscriber agreement". Why these people are creating problems for customers like me? Don’t have a right to change operator? Being a prepaid customer the MNP is mercy of the current operator or right of the customer? Then what is the meaning of MNP? IAM THANKFUL TO YOU SIR FOR YOUR CONCERN IN THIS REGARD.

I purchased the Sim of Airtel Company and my number is [protected] but now due to some inconvenience in services I want to port my Number from Airtel to Vodafone. The reason of complaint is that Airtel is not allowing me to do that and that too when porting has been available in all the companies.Even the customer care is not replying to me kindly.So it is humble request to you to kindly inter fere in the matter and try to sort out the things as earliest as possible.

I port this number into airtel. in 23 may my bsnl sim have ben disable. & number transfer into airtel. before using verification compulsory. so 23rd may verification completed my side. but 23rd mat to till date my number not active. when i call any number my number transfer to verification department. and say sorry & Executive Say after 4 hours number will continue & service started. But Till Date My Number Not Active.
                In this Case My Business Very Loss My Customer Loss In Mu Business.

                I wanted issued o port my number to airtel for which visited the airtel store more than three times .For every visit i had carried proper id and documents required but the service provider cited new requirements and problems every time and denied the request .It must be noted that exactly with the same documents an airtel sim was Issued to me by the same employee of the store. Serious actions must be taken against the company and the store.

                I had requested for porting of my no [protected] (Prepaid to prepaid) from Secunderabad to Delhi with Airtel (from Idea) on 30 Apr 16. However the porting could not be done and the reason given by the agency at Delhi was 'porting code mismatch'. I again applied for the same on 17 Jun 16 and was assured by the agency that the porting would certainly be done. However despite my repeated visits, the porting could not be done and I was told that the ID was rejected as there was no response on verification about the no from the referee. This is totally false as the reference no given was [protected] and the referee had answered all questions asked by your rep on phone.It was really a frustrating experience with Airtel Agency at Bhajanpura, Delhi-110053 (Agency code-IE 500). Till date my porting could not be done despite complying with all the desired formalities. The staff at this agency do not take customer calls seeking updates on the issue with the excuse that they were busy attending customers. You may have to look into the issue of reviewing the decision to continue with this agency where there is totally unprofessional attitude of handling of such issues and the customer really feels harassed at the end of the day. Also action need to be taken against the officials verifying the details with the referee for giving wrong feedback. Airtel is striving to be No-1 but I am afraid, with this type of service to the genuine customers, you would be nowhere in the race. Hoping for an early resolve,

                I have visited a store in AS rao nagar Secundrabad on 23-June-2017 and applied for MNP from Kolkata(Docomo) to Airtel(Hyderabad) network from prepaid - prepaid the lady in that store told me that it will take 7 working days to get it port and today is 04-July-2017 yet now my number has not been port, This is total bull [censored] if you cannot provide services on TAT then there is no meaning for giving aTAT .Today is the 9th working days my number is yet not ported can you please let me know when will it be done or should I choose a different network operator.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I want to draw your attention in this matter related to Airtel digital TV. I arup sarkar consumer no.[protected] holding this connection. Earlier I was charging a monthly rental of rs.170. without my concern they increase my rental fee to rs 200 per month.and they change the extra pack for which I was paying around rs 30 per month(kids channel) but they did not cut the rental.
                    As a result for only one channel i.e. Disney XD,I was paying rs 30.whereas that channel alone monthly rental is about rs 11.
                    recently I add another pack of English movies which consist of two channel but only one has activated so far.I tried to contact the customer care but they told to mail the same to them. I have mail thrice but still I did not get any reply from them neither my issue has been solved by them.

                      Hi,
                      This is with reference to Airtel Digital TV. My Customer id is [protected]. From last 1 year i am getting error code - SM2 which is related to satellite migration. First time I encountered this error in the month of October 2011. I call customer care and they refreshed my account and logged a complaint No. 12605722 dated 11 oct 2011 for migration to new satellite.
                      1 or 2 days after I received a call about the migration to new satellite issue and told me that executive will be come to my house till this time(mentioned some time). After that I didn't receive any call and no one visted my house and complaint was closed without any action/resolution.


                      After 1 or 2 month I encountered same issue and I call customer care and they refreshed my account and logged a complaint No. 15022413 dated 29 Dec 2012 for migration to new satellite.
                      Same process now, 1 or 2 days after I received a call about the migration to new satellite issue and told me that executive will be come to my house till this time(mentioned some time). After that I didn't receive any call and no one visted my house and complaint was closed without any action/resolution.

                      After this it worked fine for 9-10 months. Again on 20 Oct 2012, I encountered same issue, I call customer care and they logged a new complaint for migration to new satellite (Complaint No[protected]. This time customer care executive was helpless in even refreshing my account and told me that their all channels are now on new satellite only. Earlier some were on old satellite and others were on new satellite so they were able to refresh my account. This time I even didn't receive any call from any executive and complaint was closed without any action/resolution with a comment that "problem is resolved on phone".

                      Above process repeated on 29 Oct 2012 (Complaint No[protected], no action was taken and complaint was closed with comments that "problem is resolved on phone".

                      Same process repeated on 2 Nov 2012 (Complaint No[protected], no action was taken and complaint was closed without any action.
                      Same process repeated on 13 Nov 2012 (Complaint No[protected], I received call from executive that someone will visit my place. After that no action was taken and complaint was closed with comments "Migration is already done, User is misguiding".

                      I again call customer care on 15 Nov 2012 and a complaint[protected] for wrong resolution was raised. Today (16 Nov 2012), I received a call stating that he is a local dealer from my area and he has got a call from Airtel Area branch office that please resolve this issue and CUSTOMER WILL PAY RS 200 FOR THIS TO HIM. At the time of writing this complaint my last complaint dated 15 Nov 2012 is still open.

                      I want to know is this the type of service user is seeking from a so call brand name "Airtel".
                      Please have a look on the issue and resolve it as soon as possible otherwise I am no more left with any option to discontinue my another connection (Customer Id : [protected]) as well and aware people to be far away from Airtel DTH.

                        I susmitha having using airtel no: [protected] and on 15th morning i have a balance of Rs.299/- and before that i have have activated Rs.98/- for data using but on 15th on my mobile the balance is deducting auotmatically and by end of day it was at Rs.188 i dont know why the balance is deducting automatically with out notice and even i didnt register for any services but Rs.30 has been deducted and when i call to cutomer care they have refunded back it and later i was talking for the rest of amount also they are telling me you have used data and disconnecting the call. I wanted to know that when i recharged with Rs.98/- for data activation again why the amount is deducting and i want the amount to be refund back asap. I was shocked such a big network is doing like this cheap things to get money and bluffing the customers by deducting money with out activation and it clearly shows the mistake is from your side and refunded back only Rs.30/-. So please verify and refund me amount asap and you can call me up on my number or [protected].

                          I have been using airtel for more than a year now.When i first bought my airtel SIM it had plan in which every call would be billed per second and there would be 100 SMS free after first 3 SMS.These first 3 SMS would be charged at 50 ps per SMS.Now during this diwali there was blackout on SMS as always so I was charged 1 Rs per SMS but since then on later days the SMS was chargeable at 1 Rs per SMS and moreover i couldnt even send any free SMSes.I called up airtel on 15th Nov 2012 to tell them that my SMS was being charged at 1 Rs,the executive told me that your problem would be solved and all money would be reimbursed to your account.The charging of SMS at Rs 1 continued and i called airtel customer care(121) on the following day and I was shocked when they told that there are no free SMS facilities on your number since your card is not a FRIENDS card.I argued that I always used to get 100 SMS free after initial 3 SMS but then the guy kept me on hold and never answered.Later I again called them and a girl recevied and she had to say something similar and should assured me that she would tranfer my call to her supervisor but then she put me on hold till 7 mins and I had to cutoff since now a days they charge us even for calling customer care numbers.I really find myself helpless and need some assistance on how to deal with these people.I have recorded the second customer care call.Please Help

                          AirTel — charging of messages

                          sir,
                          i have an airtel connection with a plan that gives me 500 messages free( national/local). in my december 2010 -january 2011 bill i was charged for these messages. when i talked to the representative i was told that on black days the messages are charged. but when i took the plan i was never told about these black days and neither did they send me any message of these telling me that if i send the messages on these days i will be charged the money. i have not paid the outstanding amount till date. now my outgoing services have been withdrawn. i am facing a lot of inconveneience from this company and my daily working has suffered due to which i am unable to concentrate on my work.

                            Hi,

                            I went to airtel showroom chromepet last week Saturday (10/11/2012) and paid my postpaid bill. They said since there is no power , they will update in the system by evening and i will get the message for payment by night. But till now they have not updated the payment and i had not received any message for the payment that i had done. This is the worst showroom i have ever seen so far. It is been a week and they have not updated my payment.

                            Worst showroom in Chennai , as they even don't have any contact number.

                                  Respected Sir , With due respect I beg to state that My Airtel Mobile No-[protected]. I recharged Rs 54/ on 01/11/2012 for1paisa/ 2sec call charge.But it had been activated after 7 days, it worked for 2 days but after 2days the benefit stopped. The call charge has been charged abnormally,and it is doing abnormally till now.I have made complains many times to the said company's customer care,but there is no result.
                                  You are requested to investigate the matter and take necessary action as early as possible .

                                    I have subscribed for Airtel DTH Services's 12 month package named Economy Sports 4 HD amounting to Rs. 3745. The time duration is from 14th Aug. 2012 to 14th Sept 2013. When I took this package, all sports were coming,but from today onwards they have stopped broadcasting all sports channels. When contacted Airtel Customer Care they told me that the company have revised their package and now extra charges should be paid to view these channels. When I took this package no terms and conditions were shown or discussed with me and now they are telling that they have send messages to all customers. I have not received any message from airtel. And why should I pay them extra money when I have taken yearly Subscription.

                                    Yes, this is the main problem..Everybody is subscribed heavily to so and so packages and left with no scope for a change for fear of losing money. Nothing can be sure. Here, most of the people are above the Rs250 / month pack and we are getting the basic channels plus some unwanted channels.
                                    I am subscribed to South economy Sports pack and from today Im getting only ten sports channels & DD sports plus one new sports channel Trace..nothing else in sports. Then in addition to that I dont have any English Movie channels also, but still they are debiting my account with Rs 10.31, thats more than Rs 300 / month. But there is a little hope that i could change the service provider since i pay for only 1 month at a time, whatever be the offer.
                                    Even I have same issue.
                                    I'm also facing the same issue. There was no notification from Airtel on this, no SMS, no calls. I dont understand how they can suddenly change the package that they have taken and without notice. I'm trying to call customer service, but lines are busy. They keep calling you for feedback, and keep sneding messages for various reaons, but it comes to increasing prices or changing packages, no news. Awesome customer service.

                                      I have not subscribe to BOLLYWOOD MMS service of airtel. But airtel give me a message 3:30pm today, that BOLLYWOOD MMS service is active in your mobile at Rs2/day. They gave a number *121*5# to manage this service. But when I dial, it gave a massage, "Press Exit for main Menu". This how airtel fool its subscribers. If they fool 1cr people they an Rs 2cr rupees. Please take necessary action against these people. I think many people are victim of such offers. Why should I give Rs 2/day to these cheaters. Lets give complain in large scale such that they stop doing cheating.
