Dear,

I am having one Airtel prepaid connection no is - [protected].

I recharge my mobile with 89/- Rs. card for getting STD 1 Rs (Trans Id- [protected]), but I didn't get.

For that..

I discuss with customer care supervisor Mrs. Mahalaxmi on 29/08/2007 at 3pm but I didn't get any satisfactory response, she told we would resolve that problem with in 24 hrs.
Again, I discuss with customer care supervisor Mr. Kumar on 30/08/2007 at 2pm but again I didn't get any satisfactory response, he told we would resolve that problem with in 48 hrs. Means up to today.
But till know I am getting same problem and know customer care they blocked my mobile means they are not picking my call. Today I tried 5 times.

May I know what's the reason for behind that?

Please resolve this problem and give me Response ASAP.

I have the same problems almost every time I try to recharge. They have ZERO customer service. If you are lucky and the service works, then fine. Otherwise you are out of luck - and out of money. Airtel is a clueless company.

I have recharged my mobile phone No. [protected], from lucknow twice by Rs. 440.00 but both recharge returns with Zero balance but the said amount is deducted. Instead we get the message that the Incoming is diverted and we canot call anyone from our mobile. our recharge IDs are[protected] and 46809408.
Even our customer care No. [protected] also returns with the same message.
I cant contact any of our numbers from my mobile even after spending Rs. 880.00

    AIRTEL "MOBILE OFFICE" GPRS SERVICE IN KISHANGANJ,BIHAR IS GETTING HORRIBLE DAY BY DAY.THE SERVICEWAS NOT WORKING FOR ALMOST 20 DAYS BUT THE RENTAL WAS BEING DEDUCTED.EVEN WHEN THE SERVICE WAS RECTIFIED AFTER 20 LONG DAYS,A NEW PROBLEM STARTED.THIS TIME THE GPRS SIGNAL DISAPPEARS EXACTLY AT 10 PM IN THE NIGHT UPTO 6 AM NEXT DAY & ALSO 2 HRS IN THE AFTERNOON FROM 1 PM TO 3PM.INSPITE OF REPEATED COMPLAINTS TO THE CUSTOMER CARE ,NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN IN THIS REGARD YET & THE PROBLEM WORSENS DAY BY DAY.

    i am using the airtel gprs service since 6 to 7 months in BIHAR circle...n whenever i go outside my circle my connection of gprs automatically disconnects..n when i complain about this to customer care..they use to told me that it will be cured within 24 hrs. but it doesnt happens n now they hav barred my call to customer care also...

    My name is nand kishore sharma. my cell no. is [protected]. By some circumstances on this phone one system is implemented and due to this Rs 2.20 per day deducted without sending any sms and as well as talk to anybody. I have charged this phone two times. all the money has been deducted. I have talked in call centre 9-10 times, but my problem is stil is pending.

    i use airtel mobile office, but its speed is very slow, company is cheating with us do something with this company.
    airtel only shows the speed of 115 kbps...ut the truth is some different...the real speed is 1-2 kbps...what should we do as awared customer...
    ppl... i have the same problem with the speed, it shows connected at 115kbps, but it is not working at the same speed.

    finally i came to know that the connection is purely on bandwidth and not like broadband.

    and the Airtel mobile office Rates in Gujarat has also INCREASED from Rs15/day to Rs 20/day.

      The airtel connection I am currently using is in the name of my mother. I wanted it transferred to my name. I submitted all the Documents for the same with Airtel Outlet (SheebaTel, Jail Road, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi). The documents are still lying there with Airtel Outlet for last 1 and a half month but the connection has not been changed to my name. I have lodged several complaints with the customer care
      (Complaint Nos. 13447851, 13474341,[protected] for the same but still the connection name has not been transferred to my name. Their excuse is that they have not recieved any documents for my side (the lamest excuse ever). I have the names of all the officials involved in this sorry episode. I will tell the names if required. Please suggest me a way to bring the culprits to justice!!

      i have done my payment but outgoing call not start my airtel no [protected]
      i am prepaid subscriber with airtel.
      from last one month and more i am suffering from problem.
      whenever i connect to call anyone it's connect in wrong connection and after disconnecting line amount deducted from my amount and this happened many times.
      after this process happening 2/3 times i get the connection where i required.

      this is not a good system and actually this is wrong way to collect money from market or customer

      pl. correct this process so that consumer can't suffer from this

        Subject: regarding complaint No.[protected] dated 25th Apr07.

        I am Mrs. Pragya Pandey having subscriber of AIRTEL [protected] and I am feeling very much regretted on my decision of choosing Airtel connections. Reason as follows...

        I have received a call from your customer care regarding “ Hello Tunes” and I applied for the “ Title song of OMKARA” on 25th Apr07 at 17.04. I got a confirmatory SMS from 678. but when I checked it from my another number, I found it is not that which I opted for i.e. the “ Title song of OMKARA” instead of my choice, I was provided with the “Instrumental Hello Tunes”, which is tantamount breach of faith.

        When I intimated regarding this fault to the customer care, attended by someone Mr. Amit Rajput, I was assured that the needful will be within next 24 hours, but nothing was done. Again I had to call the customer care on 27th Apr07, attended by Miss. Amee Butola but the same reply was given i.e needful will be done within 24 hours, but all in vein, the problem remains as it is.

        On 30th Apr07 at 16.20, on elapse of roughly 50 hours I again contacted the customer care ; the only option to a customer given by your organization for the grievances he feels but Mr. Mittal I am sorry to lay down the facts which I faced during the talks held between the customer care attended by Mr. Zaheer Abbas and myself. You will be astonished that Mr. Abbas replied your complain is in process and will be rectified and its needs a week long time, it was my turn to be astonished. When I inquired why so long! He said will be done within 48 hours again the quoted the previous C C responses he too coincided his time to 24 hours and in very irresponsible manner said “ HO JAYEGA” on my questioning that every body is replying “ HO JAYEGA but HOTA NAHI HAI” more over the charges for the same which I didn’t get my requirement was very promptly deducted from my talk value paid to you already. On very irresponsible, un-causal and changing statements my Mr. Abbas created this faith towards the CC and then I had the only option to go to the head of the CC dept. but I regret, he refused in very rude manner that he is busy in meeting and cannot attend your call. I fail to understand the customer care’s head or the dept as a whole had something more important than the customer it self. Any how I kept on insisting upon to have a talk the departmental head. You too will be astonished to know the alert activities of the esteemed enterprise like AIRTEL that I was put to the person required on 2nd May07 i.e. after 48 hours. Will you please be kind enough to reward your CC head for the meeting he attended continuously for 48 hours really if it is he/ she great.

        But I am shocked that he shorted out my problem within no time and I really deeply regret to let you know that his solution was “ you opted for the same Hello Tune and was provided to you nothing can be done further”.

        On this state of affairs I dam mind my Rs. 30/- but I was shocked to get this response and if this was the solution why the previous CC executives didn’t replied the same.

        Why every time I was told it will be done within 24 hours. If same is the process of the company that anyone can play fool with my money and instead of removing the complain its very easy response you opted for the same, had this been my option why I should have had the pain to lodge a complain. The behavior of the senior most officer of the CC dept. was very childish and irresponsible too, this type handling of a customer can be done even by an uneducated person which we face every now and then “ AAPNE YAHI MANGA THA”.

        With above pinching feeling I put a every simple question, to a person like who’s personality and policies attracted to go for an AIRTEL option, that why should I keep on using AIRTEL services if such is the performance bottom to top.

        I dont know Y Airtel network has bcome so worse in taking no action... hello tune is set bcoz of personal interest for that particular liking of tat song...so as my liking too...Today june20th i asked for the customer care exevcutive to keep my favourite song...so as he did telling tat the process is complete and immediately my balance was deducted respectively as per charge...but to my wonder when i checked for my hello tune I found it was an AIRTEL INSTRUMENT BIT...which i never asked for!!! Immediately i called n reported...but on my reply i was told tat the song which i asked is in activation inspite of telling so many times...8hours after complaining no action has been taken...?????????????????????!!!

        Being a huge famous network WHY AIRTEL doesnt respond to complaints???????? You are being perfect in crediting the money for each and every processes...but not providing the required process to the customers!!! In this way AIRTEL IS CHEATING its CUSTOMERS !!!

        Yes i do agree. airtel has become a wrost telecom provider & it never takes any actions on complaints. i fed up with this bleady customer care ppl. Airtel doesn't trained them properly. they don't know wat's the airtel updates & more ever they suggest different solutions for our complaints which never workout. i can say only one thing. if airtel ppl want to see how much i fed up with your servise then just chk complaints which the number number isregistered on this mail id then you will come to know how bleady & meaning ful services your providing.

        Respected Sir/Madam, I am Airtel Prepaid Customer since more than a year (Mob No [protected]). Recently, on 13 Sep 09, I received an SMS thanking me for choosing Airtel Movie Gossip and interestingly, an amount of Rs. 30/- was deducted from my balance. Actually, in my entire life, I have never chosen such hopeless service. I lodged a complaint to the customer care and the very next day, on 14 Sep 09, I got my refund of Rs. 30/-. But, after just few hours, I was shocked again on receiving an SMS. Tthis time I was told that I have chosen Cricket pack. Again, a fraud. More to this, as a precaution, interestingly this smart network has stopped my service of contacting customer care and startted deducting an amount of Rs. 1/- per SMS sending me daily at least three, the nonsense scores of cricket matches and thus stealing my money daily from my balance. I have no option as my facility to contact Customer care has been stopped for this theft. This is dfefinitely not a way of business. Till now, an amount of Rs. 13/- has been stolen from my balance. On the day, my present balance finishes, I promise not to move to Airtel during my life and I will bring out to my seven next generations to avoid this nonsense network..

        Dear Sier I am residing in Tehsil Sunderbani of District Rajouri in J&K State, I submit my document for convertion of Prepaid Sim to Post Paid Sim on 7th of Dec. 2009 at Bali Digital Ware Sunderbani, but after 13th of Dec. 2009 I am facing so many problems due to not convert my Pre-paid sim to post paid sim when I call to customer care, they suggest me from last 6 to seven day that the connection is convert with in 24 hours but again next day when I the phone is not activated then i am again call to customer care they again says the conplaint is forwarded but I am facing so many problems today when I am call to Customer Executive to give the number of Incharge for complaint she (Anu) refuesed me that I have no numbeer either that Mr. Sandeep Nodal Officer, but at .11 am his mobile is switch off than again I conduct to customer care with miss Anu Customer Executive she again told me that she had no any other no. of her senior in Jammu or in Delhi, if your good self could not try to solve the problem with in 24 hours I will put a case against the Air Tel Company it is not a threat it is a request beacuse I have no spare time to conduct with an hour in customer care and the after that the reply is come out Surry.

        Airtel has launched New Hello Tunes to fleece unsuspecting customers?
        On Dec 18 I found msg in my inbox from Airtel that my hello tune has been changed on my request.I was surpriseds because I made no such request.
        Further, I found that Rs 15 has been deducted from my balance as charge for changing Hello tune.
        I tried to reply to the number from the msg was received, registering my protest and demanding that the amount deducted should be refunded immediately.The message bounced back again and Rs3 was charged for the call.
        I then called customer service in the morning of Dec 19, the lady Customer Service, after listening to my complaint, said nothing could be done about it.When I wanted to connect me to her higher official, the executive, She disconnected.
        Is it quality of service we are supposed to get from Airtel from now onwards?

          I am K.pradeepkumar working for residing at kottivakkam chennai.I’ve bought a Life time prepaid Airtel mobile sim from a medical shop at adyar.

          After two weeks my outgoing and incoming call got cut without any notice. I approached “Airtel customer service” through mail. But no response from them, and now after a month, when I approached the airtel relationship center. They informed me that my number is debarred because of address verification problem and I can’t use it. If I want then I need to buy a new one.

          Why this is happened, where do you mentioned about this strong rule that a customer have to loose his/her mobile number. I didn’t even got any intimation on these things from airtel. But for an advertisement you people will send even 100 sms a day.

          It’s you people who chain up with all kinds of shop to sell the prepaid cards, if you people can’t collect or even if the seller’s cannot send the customer details properly then why you have these kind of sales channels. Even after submitting all the required details to the shop from which I bought this sim card. I heading to a tough problem because of some mess up happened in your sales network.

          Since I want to have a final check with you people before moving to customer judicial bodies, I drafted this mail.

          Hope at least for this mail I ‘ll get a reply.

              I am having a broadband connection from Airtel - Home 999 in Noida.
              As per this plan I can use unlimited internet @384 KBS for a month.

              In the month of February 2009, airtel has included an extra charge
              of Rs 199 (+ service Tax) in the name of some "DSL Usage Charge".
              When I looked into the details of the bill, it says that it's been charge
              for some "Gaming" service.

              I checked with customer care, and they told me that I have used some Game-On-Demand
              service on 2nd Feb 2009. I told them that I have no idea whatsoever about this
              service and there is not even a slightest possibility that I would have used
              this stupid service of Airtel.

              They have taken my complaint and I am waiting for this thing to be resolved this
              and revert the charges in my bill.

              This is pure from Airtel causing too much harrasment to customers.

              I request you all to please check your mobile/telephone bills from Airtel
              every month so that companies like these can not screw the customers like us.

              Dear Sir, I am using Airtel connection since 3 years (my Mobile number is: [protected]) . Recently i have faced a problem with the service provider. In the month of march I received an incorrect bill amounting to Rs. 2549. In the bill there were some number which I never dialed. Numbers that are reflecting that I never dialed are: 5664469, 5664464. The amount reflecting against these number in the bill is Rs. 1548.

              I have already complained twice to the service provider but there is no positive response from there - Complaint numbers: 21077206 and 21169953.

              Please provide a solution and resolve it because its fourth time and i am not getting any reply from your side.i am still waiting for your reply.

              My Airtel mobile number is [protected]. I occasionally receive SMSes asking me to "accept" and view latest wallpapers of girls. I have always been ignoring such smses and deleting them immediately, but on one occasion (and last), last time I ended up actually accepting the message. Next Rs 75 is deducted in my mobile along with the message that I have downloaded a game from gclub.in . Truth is that I didn't download anything nor did anything get downloaded automatically. In other words, my money was deducted for nothing. This is fraud from airtel and I am very furious. I want my balance back as soon as possible. Really disgusting how Airtel could stoop to such low levels in order to suck people's money.

              I am planning to switch to Aircel instead, but still want my balance back!!!

              As a side note, I browsed through similar cases of Airtel cheating people and deducting their balance for nothing in this and other consumer forums. I guess, all o[censored]s, who have been duped of our money, should come together and publicly raise our voices against this fraud of Airtel in various media.

              And the worst thing is that the staff that takes care of customers in Airtel service centers are nothing short of thugs and rowdies. We need to create a facebook page or something against Airtel.

                Airtel - New Delhi I have been using AIR TEL Cell phone from 24.07.2006. The number being [protected]. I have been utilizing this number is connection with my business and for my private communications.

                But since 11.09.2008 I am not receiving incoming calls or I am not able to send out going calls from this number. Itis reliably learnt that the number allotted to me has been migrated without my knowledge or consent and it is being used by S.J.COMMUNICATIONS, Manavalakurichy. ([protected]).

                It has caused much hardship and great mental agony to me apart from financial loss which is irrespirable.It is a clear case of deficiency in service.

Very recently they have activated and cut the money for the missed call alerts. I feel that forcing the services without request is deplorable.                       1. It is is intimated that billing address noted by the customer care executive was wrong which resulted in the bills for the month of Aug 07 and Sep 07 not reaching the correct address.
                      2. The rectification was done but in the meantime the bill amount of Rs 807/-pending was cleared vide Cheque No 128505 dt 01 Oct of Bank of America.
                      3. The restoration took 2 days after another complaint with reference No 1755116 and the facility of outgoing calls was thankfully restored.
                      4. Now, again on 09 Oct 07 the outgoing call facility has been taken off without any intimation.
                      5. A bill amount of Rs 948/- (refer your invoice No[protected] dt 06/10/2007 which includes the previous amount of Rs 807/- has been sent with due date of 25/10/07. The actual amount due and not before 25/10/07 is Rs 90.62p only
                      6. A complaint has been made to customer care tele executive by the name of Mamata on 09 Oct 07 and we have received reference No 1838502.
                      7. This indicates sheer laxity and inability of the so called executives to comprehend the matter.
                      8. In the meantime I'am paying the rentals for nothing which tantamount to taking payment and not providing the services. This speaks very low of customer care reputation and service inefficiency of the service provider.
                      9. In any case, they are taking money for the service to be provided and that also is not being adhered which is against corporate ethics.

                      Bharti Airtel Ltd. — Outgoing Barred without Intimation.

                      I have two airtel connections out of which there is some amount outstanding in [protected] which I had intimated about settlement by 22nd Oct & also was agreed by Airtel.The outstanding amount also doesnt pertain to any usage of services.

                      Suddenly they have stopped outgoing facility in the present no [protected] wherein the payment has never been delayed.

                      This kind o[censored]ninformed stoppage of services has resulted in substantial loss to me.

                      Kindly advice what can be done mby us in this matter.

The only little request I can forward is that all my money should be refunded ASAP.

                          I am using my airtel No. for las 3 years, I have taken life time
                          scheme for the same, earlier i was paying Rs. 45 per month to reduce my local call charges. one day i got masg that If i recharge my cell by Rs. 37 , My sms charges will 20 Paise per/sms, I have done that & my local call chages again increased.
                          If company launhes new scheme, they should have inform to their customer that only one scheme will be applicale at a time.
                          Now I would like to redeuce my local call & STD call charges.
                          I[censored] have any running scheme, please let me know, otherwise i will take some other number.

                              This complaint regarding network coverage. I have been complaining to Airtel people for last six months that network coverage is bad in my home. Every time they have been saying will install system in home but till now never happened. But I don’t know how come they say they have connection...

                              I completely agree with the complaint mentioned above. The network coverage issue is existing for the last 1 year but no action has been taken in the issue. I am not able to use my mobile at home and I am really going through a mental torture. I dont know when this is going to be sorted out......!

That person whose got my cell phone n sim used my no till 2day (i.e.11th n 12th )so i can know whose that person? I filed my complain to police n requist airtell to give information bout my no coz its a postpaid so they can help me ? But all woek was in hell . They didnt give me thats no n say till new bill i cant find it ? So ,i wann know why we used postpaid only for paying bill ,we cant know bout our number used by other ?
                              This is the first time I'm posting a complaint because of my frustration. I did not have any problem till now with Airtel but now I've. My outgoing was blocked and I made the payment immediately. I also paid some extra amount for future but it has been two days they have unblocked by connection. I was not able to make any outbound calls for the past 2 days. When I try to call the stupid Customer service, they will play an automated recorded message, stating that my service was disconnected due to non-payment and till now I was not able to speak to a Customer service agent. What a poor and bad Customer service from Airtel.....

                              It was a shocking and humiliating experience when I yesterday on 25-04-08 went to take an add on connection at your sector 35 Chandigarh outlet near gopal sweets. First the counter staff was very rude and discourteous and initially did not advise that security/activation charges shall have to be paid for an add on connection but when everything was finalized they advised that security deposit and activation charges will have to be paid not withstanding the fact that I am holding 2 corporate connections in my name ([protected], [protected]) for the last two years and have been very good pay master. The staff was told that other companies are ready to waive security deposit and activation charges on producing the bill of the above mobile telephone and it was again very disheartening to note their reply “ our companies policy is to loot the customers and we are not interested in retaining the customer as other companies may allure our customers “ .

                              The matter was taken up with helpline at 121 on 25-04-08 at around 7:45 pm when one Mr. amarinder customer care executive repeated the same above lines leaving a message that we are not interested in retaining the customers as per the policy of the company and no complaint can be registered on this issue and I may write to anybody regarding this

                              If this is the policy of the company and such treatment continues from the airtel staff the customers may like to switch over to other companies where the customers are being treated like kings and even I would think of switching to other company in case I do not et suitable reply within 24 hours from this mail I request that being an old customer add on connection may be given under the tariff plan rs 150 per month (gupshup plan) without any security / activation charge

I can’t receive incoming call but outgoing facility has no problem then I tried call to customer care but call was disconnect Then I tried to land line to customer care he told me that you go to setting & Select menu then setting then select manual. After that, your service will activate but same problem happen and other guy told me that our service won’t activate more than one month.

                              airtel/postpaid — Network Issue

                              Dear Sir,
                              I am a postpaid subsriber of Airtel from the past 9 months and I have been facing a problem with the network i.e several time the network quality is that poor that i can't hear from the other side and i have a huge number of call drops and I have even given the Airtel the authorization to check my call stats and there will not be a single call without a call drop and it doesn't last for 20-30 seconds and I have been calling Airtel customer care from the past 4 months and everytime I am calling they will say that they are arranging a call back and honestly if there is any provision to check my inbound calls, I don't have a single call from them regarding call backs, I was also informed that the network signal in My office that is in Kakkanad CSEZ which is a IT area, is having signal problem. I still can't believe that if they don't provide a better service why they are having the permission to trade in Kerala.

I dont understand how one customer service executive can speak language like "batao aap ki pareshaani kya hai".First of all the calls to customer service dept will not go, because they are mostly disconnected by the customer service executives only, I have observed it many times. Like after the call passed to them they lift the phone and disconnect it. I requested them for many times pls dont disconnect it as we have to wait for long time to get connected with your dept. Still there is no change. I dont what sort of training they are giving to their customer service executives.

                              Their attitude is very harsh with the customers. We are the poor fellows still we have to bear with that it is their attitude and the monthly bills we get are very high I dont know how we get it. The include unnccessary services to us. They activate those services without our confirmation. When we try to talk to the Customer service they behave like the way I said earlier. Its our bad fate that we are still customers with Airtel.

                              Very very bad network yet seen in airtel. As the company growing day by day the network is failing to fullfil the needs such as coverage in rooms at home, call drop facility is indeed provided by the company for our convenience.I couldn't understand what the next person who is calling me says anything most of the times the next person acts as quarrellsome character as my voice is not reched to him. The moto of the company is Express Yourself but we are unable to Express Ourself, the moto of company should be Depress Yourself by joining with company, by purchasing a connection, in the middle the No.1 Network was provided by the company but now I think all the members of the company and other Airtel People has gone on a long Sleep as if like "KUMBHAKARAN" most of the times complained about the network problem but no one looks after it they says within few days the problem will be solved.We were very proud that we've got airtel connection because the network provided by the company was very good as compared to all the companies at that time, before 2 yrs. In the whole NAGPUR (MAHARASHTRA), whereever we go the network does not follow us. The handsets shows full network at the same time the next person complain about my network and says "how many times should i call u your phone is everytime out of coverage area. I think this problem is not going to be resolved but may increase as day by days passing the connections are increasing but the service not increasing.

                              I am ready and decided to close my postpaid number [protected] with all my dues by paying end of this month September.
                              The reason is due to many failures from the customer service point of view and management of admin regarding courier.
                              Though I gave many written statements and on call also complaints to customer care people, am not able to get the problem solved
                              From the one half year i.e. of not receiving bills to my billing address even I changed my address from 2 months still am facing this issue.

I got transferred from Andhra Pradesh to Madhya Pradesh, with airtel post paid plan which was asked to relocate in new circle... Inspite they gave me new numbers with other harreshments...
                              Now when I went to pay my first bill the person sitting there was able to see my outstanding bill on computer but still asked me to dial 121 and ask them I asked WHY he replied it is our rule... Please put only 121 dial telephone no there in the office and ask all the employees to search new job elsewhere as anyone whoso ever comes there is being asked to dial 121 and get there details clarified then what is the use of those 4 -5 persons recruited from your side there just for collection of money ... you can better out source this service and spend less than you are spending now. I have also seen they saying line is down line is down many times then what AIRTEL is doing earning huge profits and cannot have good services for customers... SHAME ON YOU AIRTEL PROVIDERS... IF YOU PEOPLE CANNOT HAVE SERVICES BETTER CLOSE DOWN YOUR AIRTEL... One month back I got a call from a person called SAHIL and insisted me to go for postpaid from prepaid & convinced me to agree.Then he sent a person called RAMESH, I submitted all my documents and 250rs.                               Last weeek I went to Vega centre pune. submitted all my documents to SANTOSH AND SHRUTI. Still its not activated. Dont know what all these people are upto. Its really idiotic.

                              This is to bring to your kind notice that I, L.K. Anupama Raju had a Post-Paid Connection. My mobile number is [protected]. I have been facing network problem and connection error in Bhoopasndra from past 2-3 months. About the same concern, I lodged a complaint to customer care. My complaint number is 19009993, but nobody is responding us properly. I have the list of customer care executives whom I have spoken to and their responses.

                              01. 22.10.08 Mr. Daniel - they will connect us to your senior officers and kept it in hold.
                              02. 28.10.08 Mr.Arvind (Complaint No.[protected] They will sort out the issue in 24 hrs.
                              03. 04.11.08 Mr. Kumar – They will sort out the issue shortly 24 hrs
                              04. 06.11.08 Mr.Karthik - They will sort it out the problem in a short period 48hrs.
                              05. 12.11.08 Mr. Ananth – They will sort it out the problem.
                              06. 13.11.05 Mr.Narayan - within 2-3 days they will get back to us about the same issue.
                              07. 13.11.08 Mr. Syed -15mins kept us to wait saying he will connect to his manager
                              08. 13.11.08 Mr.Shashi Kumar – They will connect to his senior manager but
                              disconnected the call.
                              09. 13.10.08 Mr.Satish Floor Manager – he said will sort out the problem within 48 hrs.
                              10. 20.11.08 Mr.Raghunath – They will sort out the problem in a short period.

                              The problem I am facing is that, some numbers get connected, but I do not hear the response from the other end. I can’t switch off the cell nor does any key operate, after 3-4 mins the mobile displays connection error. I have even changed my instrument thinking it was an instrument fault but realized it wasn’t.

                              I have also called the customer care several times soon after I have had a problem with a number and given details of the number. I have explained to them that my connection is a corporate connection and I hold a responsible position in the institution. The advertisement of our institute should carry my number and each ad costs us Rs.90, 000/-.

                              I have used another number in the ad which had definitely affected the inflow of students and created a chaos. We have already released 3 advertisements and the cost is approximately Rs. 2, 80, 000/-

                              I shall take a legal action if I am further not clarified about the same and reminder about my bill payment till the problem is solved. Do note that, my number is existing since 3 years, my bills are paid regularly. I have also made detailed recording of my verbal complaints.

                              This is to bring to your kind notice that I, L.K. Anupama Raju had a Post-Paid Connection. My mobile number is [protected]. I have been facing network problem and connection error in Bhoopasndra from past 2-3 months. About the same concern, I lodged a complaint to customer care. My complaint number is 19009993, but nobody is responding us properly. I have the list of customer care executives whom I have spoken to and their responses.

                              01. 22.10.08 Mr. Daniel - they will connect us to your senior officers and kept it in hold.
                              02. 28.10.08 Mr.Arvind (Complaint No.[protected] They will sort out the issue in 24 hrs.
                              03. 04.11.08 Mr. Kumar – They will sort out the issue shortly 24 hrs
                              04. 06.11.08 Mr.Karthik - They will sort it out the problem in a short period 48hrs.
                              05. 12.11.08 Mr. Ananth – They will sort it out the problem.
                              06. 13.11.05 Mr.Narayan - within 2-3 days they will get back to us about the same issue.
                              07. 13.11.08 Mr. Syed -15mins kept us to wait saying he will connect to his manager
                              08. 13.11.08 Mr.Shashi Kumar – They will connect to his senior manager but
                              disconnected the call.
                              09. 13.10.08 Mr.Satish Floor Manager – he said will sort out the problem within 48 hrs.
                              10. 20.11.08 Mr.Raghunath – They will sort out the problem in a short period.

                              The problem I am facing is that, some numbers get connected, but I do not hear the response from the other end. I can’t switch off the cell nor does any key operate, after 3-4 mins the mobile displays connection error. I have even changed my instrument thinking it was an instrument fault but realized it wasn’t.

                              I have also called the customer care several times soon after I have had a problem with a number and given details of the number. I have explained to them that my connection is a corporate connection and I hold a responsible position in the institution. The advertisement of our institute should carry my number and each ad costs us Rs.90, 000/-.

                              I have used another number in the ad which had definitely affected the inflow of students and created a chaos. We have already released 3 advertisements and the cost is approximately Rs. 2, 80, 000/-

                              I shall take a legal action if I am further not clarified about the same and reminder about my bill payment till the problem is solved. Do note that, my number is existing since 3 years, my bills are paid regularly. I have also made detailed recording of my verbal complaints.

                              I totally agree that customer care is a very pathetic service that AIRTEL provide to their customer, instead of serving customer by this service they make customer miserable .                               airtel postpaid corporate connection — no network for long time and now harrasment for settlement

                              I had airtel corporate connection in Pune for more than 1 year, and the network from my home used to vanish for 2-3 weeks at a stretch. When I went to their outlet near my home they use to say server is down n customer care just offered to waive off rent. Once this happened the third time for ever a month, I decided to move to a new connection and asked them to settle my account & include the rental waiver they had promised and the deposit they had taken. Their agent said they shall inform once it is confirmed with billing dept. And raised a complaint for me. They never Got back and are now are harrasing me to pay full amount. Please help and suggest what I can do!

                              This is the first time I'm posting a complaint because of my frustration. Everytime I have problem with Airtel but now it's cross the limit. My outgoing was blocked due to some changes of docummentation(change of address) .I have already deposited the necessary documents related to that issue.                               I would like to bring to your kind notice that I had airtel connection under my wife’s name Dr Anita, Mobile no [protected]. We sent the request for disconnection and the number was discontinued on 27 March 2009 which was confirmed by telephonic call from airtel office. Now after 3 months airtel people have called my mother and spoke very rudely and told to pay outstanding amount by today otherwise a legal notice would be sent. On enquiry from airtel office, I was shocked to hear that the airtel number was reactivated after 3 days and the outstanding amount has been doubled because I had not paid my outstanding dues !!!. My dear fellow I have heard for the first time the company is reactivating the number because of failure to the outstanding amount and that too without informing the customer !!!. Who is responsible if that number is misused by anti-social elements. I[censored] can inform the customer about the deactivation, then why can’t u inform about the reactivation and payment of the outstanding amount in certain period of time, when I had already given my alternative phone number to the company. I have checked that the number is still deactivated only. Also at the time of connection, security charges were taken but now they are telling that they were activation charges and not security charges !!!
                              I hope you to send me the details of my bill and the calls made from that number. Inform me if the number is still activated as told to me by your officials. In that case I should file an FIR at the earliest possible in police department.
                              If the above matter is not solved urgently, I would definitely file a case against your company about the breach of trust, rude behaviour and harassment of customer without any proper information under consumer protection and right to information act. I have a long relation with airtel but I didn’t expect this kind of behaviour and attitude from a company like airtel ….

On the same date of payment of Rs 1000 my outgoing call from said number was barred. Then i stop using the number and get new number.                               I was applying for a new airtel landline & broadband connection in between 16th to 19th dec 09. But still connection is not installed. A have also called up your Customer Care Executive bud did not get positive response, They are just harassing me since 19th Dec. Every time they promised me that your connection install within 72 hrs.

                              I also made the payment in cash at the time of form submission & verification and documentation are also done. Your Representative (Mr Tushar) I don’t know what is his Full name work at Sector 57 Office did not pick my phone call. Really I feel very bad.

                              I don’t know what happen your CCE was tell me your connection is installed but there is nothing.

                                NO CUSTOMER CARE (APPELLATE OFFICERS PHONE OUT OF SERVICE)

                                On every bill for landline, Airtel is providing name, e-mail address, telephone no and fax nos of executives whom one can forward complaints. I wanted to speek to Nodal Officer or Appelate officer but for the last 2 months I am unable to get these nos. The nos are [protected] and [protected]. Why Airtel is giving these nos when these are always out of service....

                                with due respect i beg to say that two days before i have sent a mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com regarding my postpaid connection that i want to deactivate this corporate postpaid connection but nobody do the needful. i would like to inform you that i have taken a postpaid connection of airtel under the plan of corporate cug-399 plan, now i am unable to afford so simply i want to deactivate my connection so please do the needful and deactivate my connection as soon as possible, for this kind of act i shall ever remain grateful to you.

                                  i talked to airtel customer care executive but all in vain first they said ring tone has activated on your Mobile but now they are saying that airtel hello tune sevice and missed you service has been activated. please deactive all the value added servies from my account .

                                    This is about Airtel's unlimited plan for Rs 699 available in New Delhi. I just want to say that you guys are doing us too big a favor with this plan. I mean you are offering speeds up to 128 kbs for Rs. 699. Are you mad?? do you know that Idea mobile offers an unlimited plan for Rs. 5 a day with speeds upto 112 KBps. youre plan is almost 18 kbps FASTER than theirs. Are you sure youre not going into a loss with offering this to your consumers? I feel guilty about fleecing you gusy like this!. c'mon please please raise the price of this plan or decrease the speeds, this is like using Internet int the 25th century you guys are making me feel bad. seriously

                                      This is the final email I wrote to Airtel, please read on.......:

                                      Dear Airtel,

                                      This is with extreme dissatisfaction that I write to you. Last 2 weeks has been more than a nightmare for an Airtel loyal customer (having a Corporate Connection for the last 2 years).

                                      Here is my case:
                                      1. Took Airtel Corporate (IBM CUG Plan) connection in Pune (Number: [protected]).
                                      • Charged Rs.250 upfront as connection charge (without providing any service); unlike my previous corporate connection ISD not pre-activated; further to add to the woes: activation not allowed if the connection is not 3 moths old. Alternative: Pay Rs 1500 in the local ARC to activate ISD.
                                      • Different Circles Different Customer Experiences.
                                      2. Soon OG was barred due to AV failure.
                                      • Reason as per my Interaction History: “Spoken to customer, said he is in Training, cannot meet.”
                                      • Actual Reason: Nobody reached me to perform the AV. The alternate number given was also an existing Airtel Delhi number (Number: [protected]). The aforementioned reason is a standard text (Cut-Copy-Paste); the same was quoted in the Interaction History of my colleagues’ mobile also (Number: [protected]). Pretty sure if a report is generated; you might find more cases where similar reasons have been quoted.
                                      • No SR could be raised against the AV agency, for the dubious act.
                                      3. Called the Call Centre to request for another AV
                                      • Outcome Promised: AV would be done and OG would be restored within a day.
                                      • Actual Outcome: Connection disconnected, cannot even call the call centre (121). Had to repeatedly call with my alternate roaming Airtel connection; yet no action was performed. Emails sent to [protected]@airtel.in & [protected]@airtel.com didn’t turn a leaf.
                                      4. Called back the Call Centre to check the AV status:
                                      • Agent confirms that the AV has been successfully done. And submits a request to activate my connection from the call centre with a TAT of 4 hours.
                                      • Expected Outcome: Connection restored.
                                      5. SMS about my number change to all my business and personal contacts.
                                      6. Connection disconnected without any intimation; cannot even call the call centre (121). My business and personal contacts (who have already deleted my previous number) not able to reach my mobile number (Recorded message: Number does not exist).
                                      7. Again called up the call centre, Agent says AV “successful” but “not confirmed” in the status (couldn’t make out a head or tail of that response). Agent says that the CV has been done; AV still pending. Tried mailing [protected]@airtel.in & [protected]@airtel.com for affirmative action; but in vain.
                                      • Action Requested: Both call centre and email agent respond back by advising me to go to the nearest ARC and submit the relevant documents.
                                      • Actual Outcome: Took leave from office, took print out of address proof & HR Letter, located the nearest ARC (Deccan Chambers, CTS no.33/40, Erandawane, Opp. Garware College, Pune) and make a visit. ARC’s response: “We do not take any documents; can only raise another AV”. Therefore, I request them to again initiate an AV.
                                      8. Finally, ask the Airtel Agent who sold the Airtel connection to help get the AV done. Finally, the AV is done and connection restored after 2 days.

                                      After having thought of churning out of Airtel (me as well as my colleague) for hundred times in these few days, amid “Frustrating” sessions, still I stick with Airtel (brand loyalty?.....more to come).

                                      Saturday 6th October 2007, I make a call to the call centre just to activate my Missed Call SMS Alert service. The call is answered by Mr. Sunny Kaul. Mr. Sunny doesn’t even try and listen to what I am asking and instead resort to recitation of the standard script in front of him. His communication is jerky and customer handling skills: a big zero.

                                      Out of my love for Airtel, I think of providing a feedback to the L1 Manager. Therefore, I request Mr. Sunny to transfer the call. But, he wouldn’t transfer the call at any cost, and instead keep on repeating “I am providing you the answer to your query”. What started as a friendly gesture to give a customer service feedback; becomes an infuriating experience. After having spent 15-20 minutes trying to convince him either to transfer the line to the L1-Manager or note in my Interaction History that “The customer requested to speak to the L1 Manager and the same was not provided as that was not in my authority”, Mr. Sunny wouldn’t just give in. He wouldn’t capture anything that I requested him to do in the Interaction History. Valuable tips finally arrive to the wise Mr, Sunny from his friend/fellow agent, who whisper and ask to hang-up. And, on my assurance that I would not hang-up till I meet a solution; the wise Mr, Sunny puts me repeatedly on hold and finally speak: “Sir, I won’t be able to hold the call. Thank-you for calling Airtel

                                      Morale of the Story:
                                      • “Right to Information” denied to the customer (that too “CORPORATE” customer; God save “RETAIL” customers)
                                      • “Never trust what the Airtel Call Centre Agent says; or the TAT he commits”
                                      • “Never send mobile change SMS to colleagues and friends; unless fully convinced that the new number belongs to you completely”.
                                      • “No SR/compliant can be raised against the Airtel Call Centre Agent or AV agency; by calling 121”
                                      • 15 minutes of agony call cost to Airtel: Rs. 300 @ Rs. 20 per minute (maybe 1 months’ ARPU)? Not really, here’s the opportunity cost:
                                      o This story was reiterated to at least 10 people till now; who in turn would quote this experience to 10 more people when the topic of “Customer Service” pops-up in a casual discussion. (100 people would now be confused if they should go for Airtel?)
                                      o Probably, after being a loyal customer for the past 2 years, I might not stop here (More the love; more the suffering). And go ahead and quote my experiences in few blogs (100s of people would read that and might be confused if they should go for Airtel?)

                                      After mailing this response, I would receive a standard email template saying…..”We are a customer-centric organization…blah blah…”; while all I would be remembering is…. “Sir, I won’t be able to hold the call. Thank-you for calling Airtel

                                      Airtel is pathetic. I sent an SMS to cancel my mobile office subscription and got a confirmation back saying it would be cancelled over the next 24 hrs. It never did. They kept on billing me. It's been 2 months since I first asked for a refund. I have been through hell. To hell with the refund.
                                      I am dissatisfied with airtel In a way that they offered me a nice tariff plan. But after me paying initial advance rental they changed it.
