[Resolved] Airtel Broadband — Broadband connection - Advocate threat calls | |||
Dear Sir, I used to use a airtel broadband connection which we disconnected as we switched to another faster connection. However, we had no pending bills neither have been informed about any pending bills. Yesterday, we received an abusive airtel advocate calling from +[protected] threatening to pay Rs. 12, 000 immediately for an out of court settlement for a criminal case that was registered against me. He said notices were issued to us to be present in Delhi court yesterday (7th Feb 2017) at 4 PM failing which police warrant will be issued. He also said the best way is to go for an out of court settlement!!! We are confused and need help at this point of time. Why cant airtel send a pending bill directly to us if there was any??
