Airtel — new airtel 4g sim not getting activated after 2 days

Changed airtel sim from 3g to 4g sim. Sent message of sim no. To 121 and got confirmation. Sent "1" for confirmation all messages with my old sim. Then received message that sms services will not work for 24 hrs. The old sim got deactivated. After two days, new 4g sim is still not working. Not sure whether it got activated. When i called customer care, i was informed that the new sim is activated. But, it is not working. Please help how to make the new sim work. Thanks.
