Airtel — not received refund for broadband prepaid | |||||
I contacted airtel for a new broadband connection. Airtel sales person asked me to pay for the required broadband plan, and i transferred inr 6007 online. Also paid inr 150 to him for further document processing. After constant follow-up for 2 days, they finally told me that the promised network speed is not available at my area, and hence they cannot provide the connection. I asked them (Sales guy and his supervisor) to refund 6007+150, and it has been 7 days of multiple follow up calls to the sales guy and his supervisor, but these have resulted in no fruitful scenario. Customer support has called me thrice, and told me the'll soon be sending the installation team! When i told the cs executive in the 1st call that i have already asked for a refund and cancellation of the plan, she said she'd update the information in the system. But apparently even that's useless, as the 2nd and 3rd calls from cs also said they are updating the status. Airtel is running some sham business... I am stunned at their customer management style.
