[Resolved] Airtel — Porting Request Delayed | |||||
I raised a porting request with airtel to port my number from vodafone to airtel on 26th dec 2016 and provided the aitel executive with all the mandatory documents along with the fees of Rs.250 and in return he gave me the airtel sim. After this no further action was taken by airtel on the same even after I called them several times. On 9th of January 2017 on the date of expiration of my UPC code the airtel executive came for the address verification. On 13th Jan I receive the message from Vodafone that my request for porting has been cancelled because the UPC code got expired on 9th Jan. When I inquired about the same by calling on the airtel customer care number, Firstly I realized that the customer service is extremely poor as the executive had no idea how to deal with the situation and Secondly they told me re-submit all the documents again by visiting the nearby airtel store. Now Firstly, I would like to know that what made the airtel executive to wait so long for executing the verification process. Secondly, if the problem is in their internal process then why do I have to follow the whole process of documentation again. Don't these people have any simple resolution for this. Customer care executive with whom I had a word was so dumb that she had no idea how to resolve the query. Kindly provide the solution for this as I have heard that airtel is very good in providing the service but as far as I have experienced its the worst. Was this information helpful? | |||||
