[Resolved] Airtel — Refund of the installation advance amount | |||
Hi, I have applied for new connection on November 26, 2016 and the person who collected Rs.2000 from me promised me to give a new connection to me within 3 days. And I haven't got my new connection till now(01/10/2017). Summary of calls with cutomer care till now: 1)Installation amount(Rs.2000) paid to the service guy on 25/11/2016 2)Never got any call from Airtel and hence called customer care on 30/11/2016 for registering a complaint 3)Sent mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com with snapshot of bill.I got a mail saying that my issue will be resolved in 3 days. 4)I didn't receive any call or mail, so again I mailed [protected]@in.airtel.com on December 3rd regarding the same. 5)I have been mailing everyday from December 3rd to December 6th but I didn't get any mail or call from the customer care. 6)On December 6th, customer care mailed me that my issue will be resolved in December 9th. 7)On December 9th, customer care mailed me that my issue will be resolved in 72 hours. 8)On December 12th, customer care mailed me that I will be contacted shortly but I didn't get any call. 9)On December 14th, I have mailed customer care about the activation. 10)On December 15th, I got a call from customer care. When I asked about the status, he was so lethargic in answering that if you are not ok with airtel, you can choose some other network., 11)On December 15th, I mailed again. 12) On December 18th, again, I got a mail from Airtel saying that "We have forwarded your complaint regarding delay in new connection to the concerned team. Our team will be contacting you with an update on the same 72 hours." Summary of interaction with nodal team till now: 1)Fed up with the interaction with the customer care, I raised my concern to nodal team on December 26. 2)On December 26, I got a mail from nodal team that my complaint will be resolved in 72 hours. 3)I didn't get any call from dealer till January 3rd. So, I asked how I can still escalate this. Then the nodal team suggested to contact appellate. Summary of interaction with appellate till now: 1)On January 3rd, I mailed to appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com. 2)On January 4th, I again mailed to them as there were no reply. 3)On January 5th, I got a call and mail from appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com that I will get my connection in 48 hours. 4) On January 7th, I again mailed to appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com. 5)On January 10th, I again mailed to them as I didn't get any update for my previous mail. 6) Then, I got a call from an unknown landline number that one of the employees in a dealer office has misused the CAF forms.Also, they informed me to give a polica complaint for the same. 7)At the same time, I got a mail from Airtel on 1st February that connection is not feasible in my area and hence, told to share my account details for my money refund. 8)On March 17, I forwarded all the documents to AIrtel for refund as they asked.(Delay in me providing the document is because my salary account got changed that time only) 9)I have been following up every day in mail and facebook to get back my money. But, I didn't get it back. None in customer care is able to answer my queries. All they can say is "my complaint will be resolved in 72/48 hours". Can anybody help me on this? Thanks, Arunprasath V.
