Airtel — stoppage of services on my prepaid cell phone | |||
This refers to my cell number [protected] for which services were suddenly stopped on 11th december 2018 afternoon. I went to get the sim replaced at the service centre and was told to have it converted to post paid connection. The centre showed inability to start services on this number as the data held by airtel was incorrect. I have held this connection since 2007. It is highly disappointing that i had to face this shock after such a long period. I am supposed to provide all proof myself where airtel has simply washed its hands of all the neglect at its end while recording my details at the time of issuing me this connection. Its highly unbecoming of reputed service provider like airtel. The balance with airtel against my number (I am told) stands nullified, and in addition i had to pay another rs 250.00 to have this number converted to post paid. This is highly deplorable, as for no reason i have to shell out money to an unconcerned service provider. Was this information helpful? | |||
