[Resolved]  Airtel — Undue delay in resolving complaint — compensation

I do not agree with your views. Issue remains unresolved since more then a 25 days
[1]i have made calls outgoing or received incoming calls on whats app only, then why charged
[2] airtel has charged on incoming calls made by airtel, received by me at usa, even mobile data is switched off
[3] when app facility through wi fi is free where is the question of paying charges, even mobile data is switched off
[4] how airtel can make unsolicited calls that too at midnight, harness consumer /customer
[5] what about handset which fell down from my hand while receiving one of the call from airtel at midnight.
[6] how airtel can activate international roaming facility on pre paid facility., without consumer/ customer consent
[7] my mobile number was /is not [protected] as stated by you, please do not fool customer /consumer

This is to apprise you that as per system validation adjustment has already been provided in your account for the above stated dispute. For details on tariff, visit http://www.airtel.in/mobile/prepaid/roaming/international
Furthermore, please be assured that our system is flawless and there is no manual intervention. The software captures the details of the call that you make from or receive on your mobile or the data that you use and generates the charges accordingly.
Moreover, we would like to inform you that international roaming service is default service activation on all airtel prepaid numbers. Monthly rental of rs.99 would be deducted from your main account balance once you latch on to the roaming network.
Also, we tried contacting you on number [protected] but could not establish contact.
Please be assured that it is our continuous endeavor to provide high quality service to the satisfaction of all our customers.
If you have any further queries/concerns, please feel free to contact us. We will make every effort to revert with a resolution as soon as possible.

Protects Airtel, despite exploit, harass Consumer, do not pay compensation

Airtel fools consumer by informing that they tried to contact but it is merely misguiding fooling .Complaint is pending since more then 25 days

I am representing this issue since last 25 days before Telecom Ministry & TRAI
however not getting satisfactory response.

I am legal immigrant o[censored]S, has left India on January 18, 2017.Immediately after
reaching at US, I started receiving messages from Airtel that i must refill, recharge
otherwise services shall be discontinued.After that I started receiving calls on mobile
all at midnight, threatening me on same issue. Once while i was fast a sleep, I received a call from Airtel, handset fell down from my hand, front cover got damaged, display went off. I have demanded new handset, no money

What is my appeal [1] How Airtel can activate international roaming facility on pre paid
facility without consumer consent, that too when consumer enters Indian Int Airport, has not left India [2] Whats App facility through wi fi is free, then too how Airtel can charge for incoming /outgoing calls[3] Such charges are levied even when mobile data is switched off. This is open exploitation, duping Consumers.Many Indian who have visited other countries on visitor visa have similar complaints, no response.

Further to my complaints, I continuously receiving calls from Airtel, at day time, late night or early Morning hours.I am receiving call from mobile numbers -[protected] & [protected].I shall have to
bear charges for Incoming calls

Howlong such loot shall be allowed, how long consumers shall be exploited. Why
Ministry & Trai do not take appropriate action without undue delay?

Above referred mail exposes Airtel 's corporate governance, standard of Business ethics, Customer relation.

I repeat, Airtel can not activate by default international roaming on pre paid facility, how International roaming starts charging consumer when consumer is still within the Mumbai Int Airport.When mobile data is switched off.

What right Airtel has to disturb consumer at late night hours, Airtel is bound to compensate for my handset
Many Indian visitor have similar complaints, but since Airtel has no business ethics, ignores such genuine complaints

I am informed by Airtel that Airtel shall not compensate for mobile which got damaged while picking up handset when receiving call at midnight. I am informed by other 4 persons who are frequent fliers that Airtel activate international Roaming, start charging even though consumer is still within the Indian International Airport, so when consumer lands in India, for few hours, international roaming remains activated. why International roaming gets activated without consent of consumer, that too only for pre paid facility. When i was using what app through wi fi, where is the question of charging me ? then why i was charged, wh i was disturbed number of times even a midnight ? even mobile data was switched off, Airtel be instructed to adhere to Business ethics, customer service
