Airtel — worst customer care support system | |
I upgraded my sim to airtel 4g sim following which i was told that sms services will be blocked for 24hrs but it was almost 48hrs n the sms services were not resumed, it was so difficult to do any kind of transactions as i was unable to receive any otp. I wanted to raise a complaint against this and i was trying to contact and speak to customer care personnel, which is a very tedious, lengthy process. On contacting 121/198, they make us forcefully listen to reordered voice for hrs and don't provide any option to talk to customer care agent. Somehow with great difficulty i managed to get my call connected to the agent n i told my issue in elaborate n requested it to be solved at the earliest but they told that it ll be addressed only after 4days and they can't do anything about it. I mean how crazy is that. It is practically impossible to do any banking transactions or otherwise, without sms services as we will not be able to receive any otp, it is almost being handicapped economically, it is such an emergency and they dont want to resolve it asap, but instead tell the customers to suffer as we don have any other option. The way they treat their customers is so bad, they don't prioritize the needs of their customers and don want to address their issues as they know that we customers have no other option than simply wait for them. Not just customer care agent, even staff at airtel stores are so rude, that they don't want to solve the issues of the customers, instead behave rude n arrogantly with them. Airtel is the worst network when it comes to customer service, i was never an airtel user, i was using a docomo sim n since docomo was merged into airtel, i was forcefully made an airtel customer and in the very beginning am fed up with such a network. They are not ready to listen to customers now because they know that they are the leading network now in the country and people by default would prefer to use airtel over other networks, but that doesn't mean they can take their customers for granted and compromise in the service they provide. I would soon port my number into other network. N i am sure many would have suffered like me with airtel, i request everyone who has suffered with airtel to boycott it n shift to other networks available, because ultimately the company cannot survive without its customers. It's high time that they realise the value of their customers n serve according to their needs. Was this information helpful? | |
