Airtel — wrong info - promotional offer (rs 449) | |||
I, abdul kalam khan of jamshedpur, purchased a new prepaid sim of airtel #[protected] on 14th september 2017 using my aadhaar. This was a new connection and the retailer advised me to recharge it with rs. 449.00 with which i am supposed to receive the facility o[censored]nlimited call both local and national and internet facility for 84 days. This was verified to me from the advertisments etc. I recharged my number with the said amount and started using the connection. I must say the service was very good in terms of connectivity call quality etc. Till 17th october. On 17th october 2017, my outgoing service was barred. I was not able to make calls. So i called your customer service, and the agent who answered the call told me that this is puja (Diwali) time and normally the free calls/sms etc service are discontinued so you might be facing some problem, please try after some time your service will be working fine. I waited but my service did not got restored. I called again on 18th ocotber, and agent who spoke to me told me that your number is not linked to your aadhaar so your number is blocked. Now my question was when my number was activated using aadhaar, how come it was not linked to sim/number. Well to ease the matter, i went to the airtel store located in bistupur, jamshedpur on 20th october with my aadhaar to get it linked with the said connection. The agent there listened to me very patiently and checked the system and told me a new story that my sim is dead and i need to get a replacement sim to continue using thre service. (New sim is dead in a month time). Well i paid rs. 25.00 for the new sim and got it issued. I was told the sim will be activated in 4 hours and i can use the service as usual. I thanked the person and was relieved that atleast now my problems will come to an end. But my good luck continued this time also, i was not able to make calls, so i again called customer service and now they told me my number is dead. I need to visit the store. On 21st (Today) i went to your store at bistupur and they told me that my offer is expired because i have used 1000 mins of calls and i need to recharge. I was shocked top hear this. This was not mentioned in any of your advertisments. There was no such clause or even conditions apply is written anywhere.
