[Resolved] Akbar Travels — airline has processed refund but akbar travels is holding it. | |
Dear sir, My booking id is at[protected]. Due to the covid 19 pandemic my flight was cancelled by the airline on 20th march, 2020 for the same they had processed full refund to travel agent on 23rd march, 2020 with transaction id 93434907. A tax credit note from the airline is attached as proof of refund. After nearly 10 mails and 100 phone calls akbar travels sent me a refund acknowledgement on 5th april, 2020 (Screenshot attached) stating that my refund will be processed within 25 days. The refund acknowledgement mail was sent by their employee vaibhav kandalkar. The said time is already over, however the refund hasn't hit my bank account, i have been waiting for my refund for more than a month now. This is highly unethical on their part, to hold the refund even after sending an acknowledgement and after receiving it from the airline. Whenever i try to reach out to them on their call center, the only response i get is to wait for the refund. Moreover their customer care employees misbehave with customers, this shows the level of respect they have for them. I have sent two mails to them today (1st may) but haven't got a reply on any of them. They have no right to hold my refund once it has been processed by the airline. I hope this issue is looked into at top priority and my month-long wait for the refund ends. I have attached the following documents. 1) refund acknowledgement from vaibhav kandalkar, akbar travels on 5th april, 2020. 2) tax credit note from go air. Regards Was this information helpful? | |
