Amazon.in — issue with package delivery. | |||||
Date: 28th Dec 2018. Client number: [protected] I have ordered a package from Amazon. It is being rescheduled with the reason saying that delivery person could not contact the customer. But actually, delivery guy is not attempting deliver the package door step. Even after complaining, they are doing the same thing. It was a new year gift and I am missing that gift. They charge so much for delivery and they do pathetic service on delivery. Once in a while this happens from amazon delivery service. They should fix the issue and have to bare some complementary benefit. We have maid exes money for early delivery but they do normal delivery by giving these kind of excuse and keep rescheduling the package delivery. Me:This problem is happening again and again, Amazon is not taking any action If the action is not taken this time then I will have to file complaint in consumer court Vikas:I am sorry to know that your concern is regarding the delivery could you please elaborate your query so that I can check and help you out? Me:My order was not delivered. But I got message saying order could not be delivered as customer was not available. Vikas:First of all please accept my sincere apologies which you have experienced in this regards. Me:I received call from delivery guy, he asked me to come to where ever he is standing. I asked him to come to the exact address but he refused to come and cancelled the delivery. How can they lie so easily, there is no easy way in amazon to track such issues. When I am paying delivery charges why should I leave my work and go to him by walking for more than 15 mins. If that was the case I can pick it up from store. Delivery guys come at random time and call and force us to come to there place. I have been placing prepaid orders so that they can deliver the product at exact address even if I am not there. This happened so many times but no action has been taken yet So pathetic service. Vikas:I am so sorry for that . Me:No Vikas:okay thanks for the information Me:I tried calling back with the [protected] PIN 3215 Vikas:Please allow me a minute or two to look into the issue and find the best possible solutions for you . Me:but he is just disconnecting the call Vikas:no issues. please let me do the needful. please be on liine with me Me:Its a new year gift, I am leaving to my home town tonight and I will not be available in the delivery location from tomorrow. I need the package today itself. How can we consider Amazon to be reliable if the delivery getting cancelled through lies. phone number is given to contact the customer in case if the he is not available at delivery location. But your delivery service is miss using it by calling them to where ever they are instead of visiting the deliver location. Vikas:thanks for waiting Me:I am wasting so much time to get these issues reported in the middle of work. It is so irritating. Vikas:I have shared the details to the courier team and they would put an insight on it and a strict action would be taken against the courier boy for updating the wrong tracking you would receive the package at your door step please allow us only a last chance to get it resolved in a positive ways rest be assured that you would not face this issue again Me:Please ensure this does not happen again. We do respect delivery person but they should also respect our time, we can not go to them in between the work to collect package. At least they can leave the package at reception.
