Amazon India — No return of defective laptop delivered | |||
Had purchased a HP laptop on Amazon India platform on 28th July 2021. The Laptop delivered was defective and Amazon had sent in their personnel to verify the defect on 4th August which was successfully verified as defective and therefore a replacement order was accepted by Amazon. At the time of delivery of the replacement order the delivery executive did not deliver the product claiming that the laptop to be exchanged should be in a working condition. Subsequently a refund request was initiated by Amazon customer care which was never picked up. No one from the Amazon team contacted for the pickup of the laptop even after multiple requests were raised for a return pickup over a period of one month. After one month Amazon India is disclaiming it’s liability to pickup the defective product and refunding my money. I have emails invoices and records of all the return requests raised. Why should a consumer be punished for the sellers fault and can the seller just waive off its liability like this ?? Was this information helpful? | |||
