Amazon India — Refund not received for order which was not shipped | |||
I had placed an order with Amazon on 27th July 2021. Received a mail from amazon regarding shipment of the order on 31st July 2021 with tracking ID. The order was supposed to be delivered by 03.08.2021. Upon tracking the shipment using the tracking ID provided, it was found that the tracking ID provided by Amazon was of some other shipment which got delivered on 08.07.2021 at a different location that too way before I even placed an order. I took this matter up with an amazon executive on 04.08.2021. Received a mail from the seller stating that the product cannot be delivered at my location. On this note I had then asked the amazon executive to cancel the order and refund the amount. The only replies I've been getting from contacting the amazon executives is " the order will be cancel in 3 days/ 72 hours followed by a refund". I tried cancelling the order from my end but this option was not available in my order section either. It's been 14 days since I lodged my first complaint with amazon in this regard and till date I have not received any call/sms/email regarding cancellation and refund for this order.
