[Resolved] Andhra Bank — False debit to my account while using debit card | |||||
Sir I used my debit card provided by andhra bank, ashok nagar branch, chennai-600083 for purchase transaction worth rs.500 only on[protected]at dura chrome shop, ashok nagar. Transaction was declined. This was tried once again and received message for transaction declined. However, both transactions of 500 rs. Were debited to my savings account held with bank. I reported the matter to bank and was asked to give written complaint, which was done. On 7-4-17, amount of rs.500 only was credited back to my account. Remaining 500 rs was not credited. I submitted another written request to bank to credit remaining 500 rs. And till such date no action. It is now more than one month. Would expect reconcillation to be done by bank and correct such mistakes automatically — indeed this has not happened even after two written complaints.
