My mother was a ckd stage –iii, patient and was undergone dialysis for past 3 yrs.in your hospital. On 30/0/2018 she got sleeped and broke her right femur. Subsequently she was operated on 04/04/2018 by dr. D padhi (Ortho.) and dr. B. P. Panda (Nephro.). As per doctor the operation was success and she response well towards recovery. On 08/04/2018 she was advised to be released following one more dialysis at about 1:00 pm. At 2:30 pm. I was contact dialysis department for dialysis as the patient started breathing problem. By observing the condition of the patient i was rushed and persuade several time for conducting dialysis but i was denied by the dialysis staff, because at that time there was no vacant bed for the ward patient. Time was running fast and my mother was started breathing problem with sugar drop and decreasing oxygen level. After severe altercation with the staff and intervention of the doctor in charge, the hospital authority finally agreed upon to conduct dialysisn in 2nd floor in critical condition. After 15 minutes left my mother shifted to
Micu bed no-240 due to decrease in oxygen rapidly. She was finally undergone dialysis at 4:15 p. M at micu after that she had severe cardiac arrest at 4:20 pm twicely. Then she was intubated and put on ventilator support.
Had this bed been provided in time she could have survived. Finally on 10/04/2018 she took her last breathe at 7:15 am.
Now in this juncture my question is who was responsible for this irrecoverable loss. I am strongly blame the staff of of dialysis department who was unable to access the situation in spite of several approach. This was a gross negligence from the apollo gleneagles hospital, and their negligence attitude. We seek equivalent compensation for this negligence and huge loss.
Hope you will go through this application with great care, emotion and feelings. We will waiting your positive and determined response. We want at least total waive of bill amount after the arise of complicacy. Scan copy of the bill attached
Thanking you.
