I had purchased a samsung s7 edge mobile phone in july'2016 from a retailer fone city, chennai. The same day i purchased mobile insurance from appsdaily (Also from same retailer) by paying rs.4, 760/-.
I registered a claim for phone damage as referred above on 26/05/17. I received email confirmation from appsdaily that the claim has been registed and the same is under process.
There were several email exchanges with appsdaily, wherein i was asked to upload documents like self attested copy of govt. Id, handset purchase bill & copy of cancelled chq. I uploaded the documents on 03/06/17 and also made a payment of inr 3354 towards claim processing & inspection.
Subsequently a phone packing kit was despatched by appsdaily & i was asked to pack the phone as per their instruction and handover the same to their courier person. I received an email on 12/06/17, confirming that my package has been received at their service centre in mumbai. I haven't been able to contact appsdaily since then as none of their contact numbers are working and there is no response to any of my emails. Their website is also now closed.
I now have no information on the status of my damage claim & my phone worth inr 55, 000/- has also been taken and not returned. There is also information now that the appsdaily company has been closed.
Request you to kindly help me in getting back my phone or refund. I have attached copy of all the email communications with appsdaily. Was this information helpful? |
