I had ordered a vinyl skin for iPad from dbrand.com through express delivery on 16/03/2023 which should’ve arrived the same week. This skin was suppose to be a gift to a family member so I’ve requested and paid for a quick delivery as soon as possible.
The order was shipped on 20/03/2023 through Aramex to my address of ‘155, Poorna Chandrika House, Perumpilly, Mulanthuruthy kanjiramattom road, Ernakulam, Kerala, India 682314’ and since then my package is lost.
On 21/03/2023, Aramex send me an email requesting my KYC documents for customs clearance on the package no. [protected]. I did share my necessary documents (passport, licence, bank statement, and also a fee receipt from my university all of which contained my legit address proof) but for no reason on 07/04/2023 they closed my case (no.[protected] and I was left it dark.
I contacted and re send all my documents to [protected]@aramex.com multiple times but there wasn’t any update until on 17/ 04/2023 I send them my authorisation letter for customs purposes in both written and typed format with signature along with all the necessary documents yet again, with my ID [protected], still to no reply.
Then I received a mail to my home post asking me to send necessary documents or else my package would be returned and I would have to pay for some services that I never availed.
On 19/04/2023 all my documents and authorisation letter were accepted (as usual) along with a new case no. 13094233 and I waited for further notification.
On 22/04/2023 I received a mail saying ‘KYC is verified from our end’ and the case was closed.
Due to the positive response I waited for further instructions or better yet my package on my front door but then yet again, on 26:04/2023 I received a mail saying ‘attached your shipping invoice DL[protected] for your kind reference. Please settle this invoice according to your agreed payment terms.’
I tried replying to the mail on payment details but there was no answer.
I checked with all available aramex contact numbers to help me with my package and its payment or whatever so that I could have it delivered soon.
I did not receive any help from anyone, even encountered some rude and unprofessional people on the other end of the call who acted as if they couldn’t care less. I even received a message from aramex customer care WhatsApp [protected] who enquired me on my issue and told me they can’t help me unless I’m a client on credit account pick-up list (?), and asked me to contact [protected] (which was the very same number I was texting them!) for help like some kind of sick joke. Then they failed to reply me for any texts putting me on read.
Today is 06/05/2023 and I am still confused about my package. I’ve asked around and I’ve come to learn that mine isn’t a one time incident, but aramex India has been consistent in atleast making their customers confused and in the end, to lose their package with no apparent reason whatsoever.
I need my package delivered to me, because I have complied to EVERY email and EVERY request as per needed, and I have consistently made it a point to call and check about this discrepancy but after all this effort I demand to atleast know WHY aramex India had failed to do their job.
