[Resolved]  ARM — Faud calls from[protected] and[protected]

Last week, I got a call on my mobile number from[protected] saying that they are calling from e-commerce account department. The lady said I have won a prize of Rs. 2 Lacks for making online shopping. On further questioning she even mentioned a couple of my past online purchases. Then she asked if I am interested, so I said first tell me what I need to do to get this prize. She said that I don't have to do anything for it, it's just a prize. She even had my home address and email id. Then she said the payment will be released to me soon. Then again this week I got a call from[protected] and the lady said I have won a prize of Rs. 2 lacks + a gold coin worth Rs. 1 Lack which will be delivered to my home. When I said I got same type of call from them last week, she didn't know anything about it. When I asked what I need to do to get the prize, she said I have to just get their free membership which will also entitle me for upto 90% discount on ecommerce sites for one year. For membership she asked my ATM card number, then said that I will hear a beep and after that I have to say my ATM PIN. I said "no way" I am not going to give away my PIN. But she kept insisting, saying it's for verification purpose and she herself won't be able to hear it. What a joke! I just said I don't need your prize and disconnected. I am giving these details here so that no one gets fooled by such calls. Be aware of these numbers. Thanks.
