Hi My name is Arun, I have opted for a rented flat in B block sector 18 Rohini (on 17th October 2012) after my father who is a railway employee (station superintendent of the badly railway station) got transferred to a nearby station in Delhi (Holambi kalian). We have opted for this flat on a non judicial agreement with the landlord and have paid 22000 Rs as security Rs 11000 as one month advance rent and 8000 Rs to the dealer for his commission. From that date we have paid every rent, electricity and water bills on time and have done expenses on the maintenance of the flat. On 1st July we have received a notice form the owner to vacate the premises till July 30th or else we have to face legal proceedings. (It was coming to our notice afterwards that the property does not belong to the owner who was charging rent from past 20 months). On July 20th we have vacated the premises in front of the landlord’s wife and she promised us that after checking all the electricity and water bills she will pay us the security deposit amount of Rs 22000 From 20th July itself, we have tried a lot to contact the landlord, but he is not picking calls His wife (named Kavita) told us not to call them anymore and that they will not pay the security back as they are not afraid of anyone.It came to our light that the dealer and the landowner have done the same with other tenants who have lived in this premises before. Now we have no other option to seek your help in this injustice. We have all the electricity and water bills till the date of our residence at the place. and have attached all the necessary proofs (the agreement, bills and their notice) with this application. My father is a government employee and have served Indian railways for past 39 years and have no other source of income apart from his salary It is his hard earned money that is why I am ready to fight for this injustice until justice is delivered.
