[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Complaint Against Axis Bank Collection Agent

Sir,

I, Leela Madhavi, have taken Personal Loan from Axis Bank. For first 8 months EMI payment was on time. Since I took break, not getting salary from past 4 months, there is delay in emi payment from past 3 months (still by month end paying emi).
But from Sept’22 I’m getting calls from collection agent (Name: Mr.Shivaji Goule, from Moukthika Enterprises) from axis bank, every day during last 10 days of the month continuously. Then I spoke to the bank customer care about my current situation. When I failed to answer the call, the agent started visiting my residence, shouting at us very rude way and threatening us to open Gate. Our house is back side house, we lock gate for safety purpose. There is only one way to go out from our house. From past 3 months, last 10 days of the month had become pathetic for us - as Mr.Shivaji (ph: [protected]), Mr.Pradeep and Mr.Akhil are visiting our house almost every day and forcing me and family members to pay by cash. And Mr.Shivaji was waiting at our gate throughout a day in working hours till night 8 PM by shouting at us - as if we are criminals and trying to escape.
Being a lady, I requested them a lot to give me time till month end from past three months. But every time they used to say when I took loan it's my responsibility to pay the EMI on time and also saying that you know your EMI And when you are unable to pay, why you have taken loan, etc. All layman language they are talking. Is this the way Axis Bank collection agents treat Customers. Axis Bank customer service is a bit irritating thing.

Also messaging me that we will report to cibil, so that no bank will give loan. I again called customer care of axis bann, they said we'll get this thing cleared. Just after a week again the same thing is repeating. Then I asked Mr.Shivaji to show his ID Card. Please find attached is his ID Card for your kind perusal. Even today (Sunday) Mr.Shivaji came to our residence to collect balance due Rs.2715 and insisting me to pay cash though I said that I’ll pay tomorrow.
As per initial communication with Axis Bank executive, through whom I applied for PL – there is a flexibility of changing EMI Date and ECS Debit Account, next month I would like to place a request for the same. Hence requesting your kind attention towards resolving this issue.
Please take necessary and stringent action against Mr.Shivaji, so that other customers will not suffer like me.
My sincere advise is: not to take any kind of loan or credit card from Axis Bank.
