[Resolved]  Axis Bank Credit Card Department — settlement of cc dues

1. I have an axis bank credit card the payment for which is in default.

2. I have been paying the minimum amounts every month

3. I wish to go for settlement with emi so that the entire amount due is cleared

The customer support help line says my credit card cannot be settled and i need to pay the full amount. They refuse to give any reason for not being able to go for settlement too. Every month paying high interest rate is quite bothering. The bank has also "locked" the savings account with them and i presume are charging interest for not maintaining the minimum balance. Despite informing them that i wish to close the account they say it cannot be closed. Seems being a honest paying customer is creating this logjam.
Is there a solution?
