Axis Bank — incorrect charges on salary account-[protected] | |||
Hi, This has been really frustrating and pathetic experience with axis bank. You people have charged my account twice for not maintaining minimum balance while my account is salary account. Since the very first day i opened this account, the kind of attitude i saw from axis employees, i would say it was total ignorance and irresponsible. Here is the whole # story which i have to explain. I joined epay systems in dec 2016 and unfortunately, i had to open an account with axis to get my salary. I applied for the account and did not hear anything from bank guy santosh so i told hr and they followed up with santosh and that dick still did not turn up. So one morning i called the bank person to confirm the status of the account myself since it's already been almost a month. He asked for my account number to provide the status and i gave him the same.in the evening i received a call from him and he said that i had an existing account with axis bank which i was not aware of. Had i known this, i would have given the same account at the time of joining and would not have waited for the account opening. I only remembered of the account with axis, when he told me about the last employer. I had applied for a salary account when i was at igate but unfortunately, i did not get any confirmation of account opening via text or email. Even i had followed up many times with the contact person there but all in vain. Just like there, here also i did not get any confirmation email or message. Now bank people want me to continue with the old account for which i do not have the debit card or net banking kit. As confirmed by yugal, the pan number is also not updated in the account. Also, the address is not correctly updated. I am sorry to say but it was really a very bad experience with axis bank. I did not get any help and support from the bank guys and i had to struggle like hell just to have an account with axis. In the month of june, i was charged around 390rs from my account and couldn't understand why those charges were levied. So i called the customer care and i was shocked to know that my account was a savings account and not a salary account and i was being treated as savings account customer. I had to again tell this to the hr and then she did her part and contacted the bank. I was again charged rs 400 for the month of july. Now, my question is who is responsible for those charges? Is it not the responsibility of the relationship manager of the bank? Was this information helpful? | |||
