[Resolved] Axis Bank — torn notes from axis bank atm | |||
Hello Sir, I have a standard chartered bank account and on Tuesday 11th February, 8:50pm used an Axis bank ATM to withdraw cash RS 8500/- all of them are Rs 500 notes. Out of which 14 notes i.e Rs 7000/- are torn and having cello-tape on them. The ATM location is ASF insignia, Gwal Pahari, Gurugram (TCS Office) ATM Terminal ID - SPCN01535 Reported to the building admin/guard as well and other associates also got the torn notes. I called the customer care of Axis bank on same day 9pm to report the same and i got the feedback to report the same to nearest Axis bank branch and they will exchange the mutilated notes. Today 12th February, i went to nearest Axis bank branch which is in faridabad, sector 29 and report the issue to bank manager however they refused to help and said they will not take the currency back as they have to bear it. Moreover they said to reach the same branch where the ATM is to report which i find very hard as i have no idea where the branch for that particular ATM is. Also on multiple calls with Axis bank customer care none able to provide assistance and right step to solve the issue.
