[Resolved]  Bajaj Allianz — Inefficiency and Carelessnesss in initiating a cancellation request of a Motor Insurance Policy submitted before the due maturity

My BAJAJ ALLIANZ Motor Insurance Policy number is OG[protected]-00000379. This was paid on 17th October 2021. As informed by Maruti Suzuki Insurance Broking, I decided to renew the Motor insurance with Maruti Suzuki Insurance Broking as it is really cheaper and has a difference of 4K in the insurance amount when compared with the amount that was paid with Bajaj Allianz. So I renewed my policy and paid the insurance amount with Maruti Suzuki Insurance Broking on 26th October 2021 and thereby requested Bajaj Allianz to cancel the insurance which was paid at first citing the whole reason. An acknowledgment from BAJAJ Allianz along with the ticket number 04591242 was received on 28th October 2021 asking me to share the alternate copy of insurance that was paid with Maruti. Even after the alternate copy was first shared with their Customer representative Mrs. Pranitha via their Whatsapp customer service there was no response after a week or so. So I tried connecting with their customer representative again on 9th November and enquired the reason which they reasoned as the alternate copy of pdf is not yet shared they can't initiate the request. Again I was patient and shared the same via email to their customer service email address. But there was no response after a week [16th November 2021] and I called the customer service again and they were saying the below-highlighted part each time when they were dialed on phone " I will highlight this issue to the next level. Please wait for another 48 hrs for cancellation and after which it will take 7days for the amount to get refunded to your bank account". The ticket number was 4832433. Then I waited for a few more days till 25th November when I again raised a complaint on the same. The complaint number is 04832433. The last day I followed up with the customer service team was on 12th December 2021 and they asked me to wait for another 48hrs which I agreed as I have already waited for more than one and a half month just for canceling a motor insurance policy and initiating a refund.
So as a customer I would like to express my strong discontent and hatred towards a reputed brand like Bajaj as I don't see them applying their motto anywhere in their business. As a consumer, I thought of sharing this experience with you all. This might help you to avoid a huge mistake while dealing with BAJAJ ALLIANZ. I am not sure when are they going to canceI the policy and when I am going to get the refund.
