[Resolved] Bajaj Auto — non issuance of rc and harassment from the dealership | |||
I am Swarn Singh, residing in Morinda, I purchased a bike Bajaj Avenger 220 bearing registration no. PB 12 AD 4649 from Dada motors, Shakti Nagar, Ludhiana on 28th Oct 2017. My grievances are that I have not received my registration certificate till date from the dealer. When I tried to contact the dealer he refused to share any specific detail but only communicated to me that “your file is in progress”. It’s been more than 8 months of purchasing the bike but till today I have not received my RC. The dealer are violating the rules and regulation of Motor Vehicles Act. Inspite of the fact that the Dealer has taken full payment from us. It is important to mention here that because of non availability of documents of the bike . I am not able to use the bike because of the strict traffic rules and fear of traffic Challan. Moreover I had purchased this bike with full affection and love, but just because of the laziness of the dealer I am not able to use the bike . which ultimately giving me a pain and mental torture. For the kind perusal of this authority my grievances are mentioned point wise:- 1. I have not received any kind of bill, insurance, any other document at the time of delivery of the vehicle as it was agreed to be handed over at my place only. 2. Several requests were made to deliver the file containing all documents, the same was being ignored by the concerned person. 3. Several written and oral requests were made to the dealer for handling of RC. 4. But each and every time they avert by saying it is in process. By this application it’s been humbly submitted to the authority to take cognizance of my application as It’s been more than 8 months that I have not received my RC copy, by which am unable to use my motor vehicle out of local jurisdiction. I have been mentally, physically harassed by Dada motors and their concerned person. I request to the authority to take strict action against said dealer as they are clearly violating the set rules of Motor Vehicles Act and moreover hand over all my documents.
