[Resolved] Bajaj Auto — starting problem new 2018 avenger street 220

I went to test ride a 2018 avenger street 220 @ bellandur, bangalore (Amba bajaj). However the bike did not start and the person said the battery need to be charged and i can come back after 5-6 hrs. Now why would a new 2018 model bike face starting problem and why would the battery need to be charged for a new bike. Eventually i could not test ride.

I was planning to buy one but luckily for me, i came to know the problem, so i am not buying it till issue resolves. Also i checked some user complaints online about the starting problem in brand new avenger 220.

So don't buy this bike till bajaj officially accept the problem and resolves it.

Updated by ARNAB DAS I went to test ride avenger street 220 again and same issue. Manager said bike is under service so I need to come again. There is some serious manufacturing defect in this bike it seems. Neither Bajaj responded to the complaint, nor the store manager had any answers to the starting problem issue of this bike.
